how long can i keep it in the woods without having to bring the 6 volt battery home to recharge it on the charger?

That depends on how much sun it gets.....in the woods sun is usually blocked out.Your memory card may run out first unless its a big one...

I have a wildgame camera that requires a 6-volt battery. The camera is on at all times but goes into standby to conserve energy. The camera's user manual says a new battery will last for three weeks depending on weather conditions. The colder the weather, the more energy it uses. After only a couple days, the camera tells me the battery is low. I have purchased batteries several times, different times, all witht the same results. HELP!

It sounds like either the camera manufacturer was overly optimistic about battery life , the battery level indicator is messed-up or maybe you're using the wrong type of batteries.

In my experience, lithium batteries last a lot longer than regular alkaline cells. And alkaline batteries last longer than standard cells.

As an experiment, don't change the batteries when the low battery indicator comes on and see how many shots you can get before the battery charge is exhausted.

I have this camera that contains a 3.6 volt battery but I lost the charger.

I do have this other charger that gives out 7.2 volts.

I tried to put the battery in the charger so it does fit.

The only thing that I am now worried about is if it will blow the battery.
(Can batterys even blow?)

Even if it doesn't blow then will the charger still charge the battery?

It will BUT - You will have to watch it closely as it will probably overheat depending on the amperage output of the charger. The less output - the longer it will take to charge. Less output would be better. At a higher output - it will not take long to charge and it may shorten the life of the battery.

Is it possible to charge a 6 volt battery on a deer feeder AND a 6 volt battery on a game camera with one solar panel? The feeder would normally be set to feed for 8 seconds, twice daily. What difference does the wattage of the solar panel make?

Charge the two six volt batteries in series with a 12 volt panel you get from any sporting goods or marine outlet. Connect the two batteries with the minus pole on one battery to the plus pole on the other. Connect the solar charger to the plus on one battery and the minus on the other. Connect your 6 volt draw to the plus and minus on only one battery.

I have a trail camera made by Moultrie, it has horrible battery life, when I say horrible, I mean 5 days tops. Do the rechargeable 6-volt batteries with the solar panel work well? Are they worth worth the money? The model camera I have is the Cabellas 4.1 Outfitter Cam Digital Scouting Camera by Moultrie.

I have 6 of these exact cameras. I use rechargeables in all of them (this will save you big bucks in the long run) but when I hook up a solar panel it does not seem to help (if anything I would say it drains it faster, and yes I have the polarity correct) I charge the batteries at home and swap them up when I can. There are a few things that might be the problem. One is old batteries, after a while the rechargeables just don't hold a charge and you need to replace them. Two if you have the camera set to video it sucks alot of power from the battery, so try switching to still photos. Three if you are getting alot of night time shots the flash will drain the battery, try to reduce the time between photos. Last but not least I believe that some cameras are just not as good as others, I have a few that will last for a month and take 500 pictures and I have others that will die in a few days with less than 50 pictures. I am not sure if moisture in the area affects the life or not but my camera in the swampy area always dies first. Also you will get less battery life in the winter time when it is cold. I know I didn't really answer your question but at least you have some thoughts based on experience.
