Cheap Camera Battery

My sony camera battery runs out of charge really quickly so i wanna get a new long lasting battery. Where would be the best place to get a cheap one.

My elderly neighbor just put up a new fence a few months ago and now it is spraypainted. I know that once she cleans it, it will probably only be spraypainted again. I feel bad because I think she is a widow on a fixed income. I want to help her plus I want to keep taggers out of my neighborhood. I'm thinking a small surveillance cam would do the trick. Unfortunately, it's going to be relatively difficult to find a "cheap" battery powered solution that is infrared and records/stores video.

It is a motion detector camera that records onto an SD card or can be connected to a DVR. That would probably be your best bet for self-contained video & storage.

You might also consider a more serious system with a couple of cameras and a small DVR. Since you're dealing with vandals, you might look at some of these infrared cameras: http://bit.ly/8U5kLD. They are vandal resistant also, and get decent reviews for their price. There are many more infrared cameras you can look through on the site, as well.

You could then grab a cost-effective 4 channel DVR with room for a couple of extra cameras and set that up (example: http://bit.ly/6psuIm). Alternatively, you could purchase a DVR card to put in one of your computers, also available on the site.

The only reason I suggest that is, depending on your neighborhood, etc... I don't want you to suffer from any retaliation from the vandals if you end up sending a couple of them to jail. I'd rather you be covered in the future as well, just in case something happened.
