Which one of these 2 cameras is better? I am looking for a camera that is good for taking clear pictures.
Neither of these. A good choice is the Casio Exilim EX-S10, which is a 10.1MP camera and is capable of doing just as good of a job with clear pictures and video.
With its streamlined silhouette and smoothly curved edges, the Canon PowerShot A480 has the compact sophistication and relaxed simplicity that ...
I like both. The canon takes aa batteries though which can be a plus and minus but has a bit more zoom. The sony seems more user friendly but less zoom. Both are good though. Thanks for answering.
I would go with the canon camera.

I have a similar Camera (not exactly that model, but it's a Canon Digital Elph) and I love it. I found it simple and easy to use for the basic uses, and I discovered it has tons of other great features. The image quality is great, I LOVE how the photos come out. Highly recommend. I've always said that when my camera dies, I'm getting another Canon Powershot, they're easily the best cameras out there

So my friend has the Canon - PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver
Model: SD770 IS and her camera can do stuff so you can make everything black and white except for a certain color and thats called color accent. But can mine do that cuz i have Canon - PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Blue Model: SD1200 IS cuz they're very similar -?
Every single day on YA there are MANY questions about this feature - a quick search would have given you heaps of instant answers.
About the color accent option: it seems to be a current fad (terribly overused) that teenagers are all excited about. The camera keeps one color and turns everything else black and white.
I would never use such a feature for the following reasons:
• You are very limited in what you can do.
• The function isn't always reliable or accurate. The camera's idea of "red" might be different to yours. It will often include/exclude areas that you don't want to have included/excluded.
• Imagine if you just happened to take your best photo ever, but instead of having a real color photo, you only have some partial b&w thing that might look totally awful. You'd kick yourself.
• If you do the "Selective or Partial Desaturation" (as it is called correctly) in post processing, you have much more control over it, and will get a way better result. Plus you can keep your original color version, too.
This also applies to any color effects done in camera like b&w, sepia or color swap - you're better off NOT to. Doing such things on the computer gives you MUCH better control and a much better result.
If you don't have your own image editor, you can go to www.picnik.com and use their effects menu which makes it very easy.
Is It a good Camera can it take some pro pixxx and yeahh is it just awesome???????
