I am thinking about buying a Canon EOS Rebel XTi Black SLR Digital Camera , and have been checking all the reviews on how great this camera is. The only answer I cant seem to find about this is, does it make videos also? And if so, how long of a video can you make. I have a Canon Powershot A95 that you can make videos. Thanks in advance.
The Canon EOS DSLR's and Nikon DSLR's are based upon 35mm SLR bodies designed to shoot still images.
They do not shoot video at all. The people who own DSLR's buy video camera's if they need or want to shoot videos.
You will find that some of the SLR-like cameras will shoot video.
Look here for something like that if your really want to have the video function on your camera.

Canon's new 10.1 megapixel Digital Rebel XTi camera features an ultrasonic, vibrating dust cleaning system that keeps the sensor free of dust ...
Honestly all flash heads would work.
your real problem would be
1. the connections - if they are hot shoes or plugs etc.
2. you cant use the 3D matrix metering
3. you can't use +/- flash compensation
You can use A and Manual
Right after the shot you can decide on how the image looks and adjust from there. To be on the safe side establish your "standard" so that you would be guessing all the time.
Back to basic photography. Guide no. and distance

Is this a good price?

Also, will my lense from my Canon Rebel 35mm EOS G fit it?
There is something VERY wrong with this company ... the price is far to low to be a complete US supported Canon.
For example the camera comes with a battery and charger, but this company charges you for them ... at much higher prices than you can buy them in a proper camera store.
Example: External Canon Battery AC/DC Rapid Charger $149 vs. $39 for an extra, actual Canon charger (the Lithium-Ion NB-2LH rechargeable battery is supplied with charger when you buy the camera from a reputable store like B&H Photo or Adorama)
This is what you should expect to pay for the camera http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/45 7530-REG/Canon_1239B002_EOS_Digital_Rebe l_XTi.html
Of course your existing lenses will work on the XTi ... that was the whole reason that Canon dumped the old "breach mount" cameras and developed the EOS camera's. Basically any EOS lens will work on any EOS camera body (there are some digital only EOS lenses, but you are going from 35mm to digital so you will not be effected by the difference ... )

Could yous please give me your opinion on this camera and what the average price this camera is. Also, is the next step up from this camera the 20d? If no, what is? If yes, would it be worth my money to pay a couple hundred more (if that's an accurate price increase) for the 20d? I will be using the camera for professional quality photos and hopefully to supplement my income in the future.
Thanks for your help!
This is a fine camera. It will run about $700.00. The next step up is the XSI and this will run about $900.00. The 20D has been discontinued but you can still find some new ones if you look around. If you are just starting out and money is a concern I would get the XTI and invest any extra money in a better lens. Unless you are prepared to spend $5,000.00 and get a camera with a full size image sensor it wont make any difference which DSLR you have. The lenses can make a big difference though.
I really enjoy photography and I want to pursue it professionally. I want to get a really nice camera with all the best quality tricks-of-the-trade. However, I am having a difficult time making a decision on which to get. I prefer the Classic Canon brand. Have any recommendations?
EOS400 is an amatuer camera.
EOS 5D is closer to a Pro camera.
I'll choose the 5D because it has a full frame chip (same size as 35mm) thus, 16mm lens is 16mm and not (16x1.63)mm, Ability for shallower depth of field, etc. Generally, a full frame camera has the capabilities to create better pictures.
Setback of the 5D:
Besides being more pricey than 400D, the burst speed is not great, making it a not-so-good camera for photography that requires speed, ie. sports photography.
