I can't find my manual and I don't know how to change the setting from superfine to normal. it's bugging me b/c the picture memory is to big to send on the internet now (1.5 MB)
Press the function/set button. This should pull up a menu that appears on the left-hand side of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom two options. The very bottom one will probably work best for you. It will display the resolution of the image. How fine your picture is won't make a big difference.
Canon's iconic ELPH design achieves a stunning new evolution with the PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH. Of course, style means little without ...
tweezers? i once did that in my laptop.. i used tweezers and surprisingly it still works :) good luck lol ! x

There are so many options and prices... 4MB / 8MB etc....
I'm so confused.
Nope, it doesn't matter, if you want to store more pictures, get a higher memory card. If your just going to take them, store it in your computer and delete them, get a lower memory card.

I have a Canon Powershot Elf I believe... well anyway I recently recorded a few clips. When I played them back, the sound was gone and they were super fastforwarding. When I put them on my computer they were this way too. Did I press some button and can I fix this? I really wanted those clips.
Some compact Canon cameras have the ability to record movies at a fast frame rate of 60fps. When recording at this fast frame rate, audio would not be recorded.
So, you need to go into your MENU (or check your display screen info) and check what your movie recording resolution is.
It should be in the Standard resolution of 640x480 @ 30fps, which is the very best, anyway. And, you might have yours set to record in 320x240 @ 60fps. You would usually only use this fast frame rate when trying to record fast moving objects or fast action.
Check your User Guide on how to change it if you don't know how...it will be under the heading of "Changing the Recording Pixels and Frame Rates".
The easy solution to try to fix your videos...is to edit them in Windows Movie Maker. If you have XP or Vista, then you have Movie Maker. You can slow them down in 'Effects'...but you obviously won't have any sound (but you can edit in a soundtrack if you want to).
If you have difficulty using Movie Maker, email me and I will try to help you get through it.
good luck...
