Canon Eos 300d Digital Camera

I need a free software that extracts photos from a Canon EOS 300D Digital Camera. Can anyone help?

You can use the software that came on the CD's with the camera. Windows will also download if you plug the camera in via usb and power the camera on. Finally you can use a card reader to read the files off the card.

I'm thinking about getting either that one or a 10D but I'm not sure which one I should get.

If you can get the 20D get it, but if you can't then get the 10D, focus more on what lens to get, but REALLY try to get the 20D, I only say because it is sooo old (the 10D). I would also check some old Nikon DSLR

I am trying to find a Canon EOS 300D, the 6.3 MP Digital rebel DSLR. I am looking to replace a broken body and cannot seem to find anyplace except ebay.

Is there anyplace else where I can find this camera body (or with kit) at a reasonable price?

The 300D, aka the Digital Rebel, is discontinued by Canon. e-Bay is a good source, and you may find some discounters that still have the camera, but most new camera dealers have long been sold out of this unit.

A quick way to test the value of anything is to use Ebay's Advanced Search next to the usual search window. Enter 'Canon EOS Digital Rebel 300D' into the search window. Make sure the 'Completed Listings Only' box is checked it will return a list of all the listings in the last month or so, what price they fetched and wheter they sold or not.

Just done a quick list in the UK site and got one which sold for £565.00 !! Due to the lenses that were included not the camera, but usually they go for around the £200.00 mark.

I bought a Canon EOS 300D SLR Digital Camera,but I didn't get a software disk with it.My other Digital Camera comes up with choose a task when I connect it to my Laptop,but when I plug in my Canon SLR,it says I need to download software from a disk.I have no idea what to do or what I need!

Download your drivers directly from Canon:

http://software.canon-europe.com/

choose model, enter operating system and look after USB drivers or something similar. This will make your life a lot easier and sosts you nothing. Another option is to use a card-reader (see first answer)).
