Camera Marine Case

The waterproof bags are garbage, if you intend to use them for SCUBA style pictures. They are prone to leaking, positively buoyant, and aren't depth rated.

If your considering them for snorkeling use, they're passable.

If your considering them for beach use, to help protect the from sand and unwanted splashes, they're fine.

Hi,

Hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me. I have (or had before I droped it out the bedroom window) a Sony Cybershot DSC T20. I have the Sony Cyber-shot Marine Pack MPK-THD underwater camera case. I am looking to replace my camera but am unsure as to weather this underwater case fits all T series? I would like to upgrade to the DSCT300.... Would my underwater housing still fit this model??? I'm confused!#

thinking of buying the marine pack mpk thc for my cyber shot T30 but a bit worried how safe it is, anybody used one or seen real users reviews of this underwater housing? Is it easy to use the controls.? Any info would be good

don't know if this helps, but i've been using an underwater case for years on my canon ixus.

the thing is that while the pictures are very good quality, they are so unique! no-one else has underwater shots of their kids or fish or stuff, and i have loads that i set as my desktops in work every day

if the sony is as good as the canon, BUY IT !!!

I was wondering if the sony MPKWD Marine Pack for the dsc-w150 is any good? I know my question is quite vague, but i'm quite busy right not, srry.

If they guarantee the case against leakage to a certain depth, they work. You can figure the cases made by the major companies have tested these cases to to at least twice the pressure (NOT twice the depth) of the guaranteed depth.

The granddaddy of them all is Ikelite.

After 1m, you will need an AF45 flash to keep from getting cyan photos. $420. Diving is a deep pockets kind of deal.

Ah, remember that underwater, the water becomes part of the lens, so a 35 mm becomes about the same as a 50 mm on land. So my 12-24 mm is like a 18-36 mm in the world of 35 mm cameras and under water; closer to 24-50 mm
