And how much is it going to be all together?

My 11 year old son would like
-The nintendo wii ( $250.00)
- Nintendo wii AMF bowling game ($29.99)
-A baseball set ( Headgear,grip-gloves,a new mitt, a bat, and a baseball) which comes in one box and is $59.99.
-A new tech deck skate set ( the little skateboards, that come with the ramp and everything) which is $10.99. So the total for my 11 year old son is $480.00 with everything plus some outfits from American Eagle.
My 6 year old daughter would like
-Hannah Montana 9-piece accessory set ($14.27)
-Jumpaline-Jumpagym. It's a little bouncer that's indoors/outdoors ($34.73)
-Gator Golf Game ($8.99)
-Hannah Montana Pencil case ( comes with pencils/pens,erasers,and a pencil case) ($5.99)
-Kid tough Digital camera ( $29.99)

I got her all that. They made this on a rainy day in July, so i shopped early, got everything they wanted plus clothes (for the 6 y.o too). My 6 year old daughter's total is $70.96 with all the things i posted above.With the extra things and clothes i bought her it came out to $168.99. I'd like to tell you moms/dads/grandparents/aunts/uncles a tip. If your kids are bored on a rainy day, tell them to make a christmas list, go out early and buy all of it while it's on sale and whatnot. It saved me a ton of money. I calculated everything if i had bought it while NOT on sale, and for my son it would've been $597.64 and for my daughter it would have been $377.99. Follow that tip, and you'll save ALOT of money.What about your kids?

Episode 1

my daughter is turning 10 in two weeks and she's asked for a sleepover.

i've allowed her to invite 8 girls (yes, i'm crazy-i have 3 daughters at home!! there will be 11 girls in my house)

i've allowed for her to have a small pizza/cake party before the sleepover since alot of the girls have younger siblings. this isn't a huge ordeal-just ordering pizza from pizza hut and eating her cake.

her cake:

games:

hide and go seek-glow in the dark style. i'm using glowing stars,hearts,bracelets,etc. i'll hide these items throughout the house/yard and the girls will have 5 mins (using flashlights for safety) to find the glowing items. person who finds the most wins a prize (makeup kit). the girls get to keep the stuff they find.

spin the bottle nail polishing: I will place 8 bottles of different colored nail polish in a circle-the girls will spin an empty coke bottle and whatever color nail polish it lands on, this is the color polish they'll use for their nails.

crafts:

-personalized pillow case. i bought cheap pillow cases from walmart and the girls will use fabric crayons and fabric paint to autograph and decorate their pillowcases

-fancy flip flops: I bought each girl a set of colorful flip flops from old navy (only 2.50 each). they will use fabric strips, rhinestones, mini shells, bells, boas,etc to decorate them

movie: either "13 going on 30" or "aquamarine"

goody bags: chocolate candies, homemade chocolate lip gloss, stickers, the nail polish they colored their nails with, and disposable cameras to take pics with throughout the night.

snacks:

-chips w/velveeta dip
-popcorn
-chips
-mini pigs in a blanket (little smokies wrapped in crescent rolls)
-soda

her gifts are:

-American girl doll-Julie
-new bike (which she already got last month)
-hannah montana game
-games for her didj (similar to nintendo DS)

OMG! You are the coolest mom ever!...those girls will NEVER forget this...and they will be talking about it for a LONG time after!

I think this is going to be a great party! I think you might actually have too many activities, but if the girls aren't doing everything together they might have time for all of them. I don't think there is anything to change, I agree with the person that said soda might not be the best, but it will be what they want to drink and its not every day you have a sleep over party with 11 girls in your house, no one is really going to sleep much anyways. Your daughter is going to have a blast and so are all her friends! Have fun!
