i am a water sports fanatic. i scuba dive, surf, run rivers, ect... i want to share these experiences with my friends and my youtube subscribers. i have an aqua-pack (not sure how to spell it) and the flexible lens distorts over my camera lens. not to mention there is a 15ft limit. (i had to take my depth gauge snorkeling) i want plans or prices for waterproof camera cases that can go to about -40ft. they have to have a place for the camera lens and a place for me to see through to the view screen. they would rock if they did have (but dont need) a place to mount them to a tripod.(i rigged my tripod to mount to the raft only to realize i cant use it through the aquapac. look at my other question to see my plan if there are none better (and as long as ppl aren't too critical of it.) here is a camera similar to mine. http://www.techshout.com/images/kodak-c5 13.jpg
if it is just a transparent box that can withstand the depth i can put the aquapac inside it if it leaks as the distortion is only noticeable when the pack is surrounded by water. if you need more info ask as i am bad at describing my problem.

Yep...camera bags....they do distort your images. All of them. If you really would like to take pics of decent quality or even vids, check out a manufacturer like IkeLite. They make housings for many makes and models of cameras. Personally, I use a Canon 720IS with an Ikelite housing. The housing is good to 200 feet and the camera is pretty inexpensive at 170 bucks. Does high res vid and stills. Also has it's own underwater mode!!!!!. SDHC card and at an 8gig (20 bucks) good for over 30 minutes video at high res.
You could also go the amphibious route. A camera that is above and below but since it has it's own housing...expect 350 bucks min.

i was watching Americas Next Top Model and they were having a photo session. As the photographer was shooting the model, the ANTM facilitator was able to instantly view each frame on the computer(but i'm not sure if it was wirelessly). I'm considering purchasing the Nikon d80 or d200 camera. But here's what i desire..WIRELESSLY, i want to be able to shoot pictures and instantly be able to see it on my laptop AND in cases where i don't have my computer, be able to tell the camera to print a frame wirelessly(though i realize i would have to probably manually adjust the printer to print different size pictures). If the NIkon product listed above isn't capable, what recommendations are in order? Serious replies only please.

you can go wirelessly with the nikons with wt-2a wireless tranmitter set, however it is expensice >$900 (possible in the $1000-$1200 US range

I had a Cannon powershot camera for the past 3 years. It has a viewing hole in case it is too sunny outside and lcd screen glares too much. Went to Best Buy, all the cameras they have now up to $200 do not have these holes now ( or whatever you call them).So how do I use lcd screen on a sunny day. I know you cannot see anything on the screen if sun reflects off it.Thanks.

This has aways been a problem with digital cameras. Using the viewfinder was always the preferred way to compose your shots before taking them, but in an attempt to provide more and more features, th view finder has started to disappear (a big loss).

There are some tricky little hoods you might be able to find (Hoodman used to make them for P&S cameras but have since moved to the more professional cameras), but in the end they are a pain to use under most conditions.

You will just have to learn to shade the LCD from the sun when composing or find a cameras with a viewfinder (hole as you call it)
