The Camera doesn't have rechargeable batteries but has a plug that goes into a socket , i have looked on the internet but no luck.

a very useful little hack

I bought camera on eBay but it did not come with the necessary cables to charge camera or upload photos to computer. I'm really desperate for charger and usb but finding it really expensive. If you had this camera and lost it or it broke I would be more than happy to take tis off you at a small price or if you want to be generous. LOL xxx

USB is 5V +/-10% per the USB standard. Any USB host should be capable of delivering up to 500mA per USB port, per USB standard. Anything outside of these parameters is not according to standard.

If your battery says that it's "charging current" is 1050mA, then it is non-standard and you can't just use any standard charger. This should not be confused with the capacity of the battery, which is specified in mAh. A 500mA charger can charge a 1000mA battery in 2 hours, but if the charger circuit is designed to pull 1000mA so that it charges in only one hour, it'll overload a 500mA supply.

I have a KodaK EasyShare M753, and my USB charger seems to have gone missing. The problem is, no major retailer I've been to seems to carry the type of charger. The port on the camera seems to be too small for mini-USB chargers. I went to Kodak's website, and I didn't even see any USB chargers advertized in their store. What should I do?

Most P&S cameras cannot be charged using a USB charger. You have to use the charger that came with the camera.

USB chargers are used on cell phones and MP3 players. You are trying to mix technologies ... usually not a good idea. You will have to contact Kodak and see if your camera model can use any of the generic USB chargers successfully.

i bought a kodak digi camera the other day and it came in the mail today. i noticed that it didnt come with a charger but it did come with a usb. can i just automatically charge the camera by connecting the usb to the computer and to the digi cam.

To my knowledge you don't charge the camera itself. At least I've never heard of such a thing. Is your camera not battery powered? And if that's the case, it's a battery charger you need. Or you can just use regular batteries.

Although a lot of new cameras are coming with a special battery pack, and that does need charging. And in that case you would need the charger for that type of battery pack; a usb cable to your camera will not actually charge the camera.

What is the specific model of your camera?
