We are a large family, 2 adults and 5 children, and we are taking family photos. We are planning to do take the photos outdoors at a park location. I want to find some creative ideas for taking standard family photos as well as photos for our Holiday Cards.
Where can I look for poses for taking family photos? I would also like to look at some other examples. Thanks!
Think about what describes your family, or your personalities. If you are an athletic family, maybe you want to add some soccer balls or basketballs. If you are a musical family, perhaps bringing some instruments into the photo would be fun? Hamming it up could be fun too, or picking a clothing theme. See if there are any other props you could use. Have fun!

Hi, I'm looking for an online site, with a gallery of outdoor pictures, with different and unique poses. Large family poses, individual poses. I do all my photography outdoors, but I'm looking for a really creative pose for my kids 4th of July Picture. We have alot of land, and I'm doing an old country 4th of july theme,with straw bales,my two kids,and our beagle,lol.

I would like to take a picture of my children or my family and make Holiday cards out of them. I would like some interesting pose ideas. I have a couple places I can do this, 1. A window with a snow scene in the background or 2. A Christmas tree. That's all I have for ideas so far, so any other ideas I would love to hear! :)

Photography Poses – The Missing Ingredient
Slow down, soldier. Before you take 200 shots that seem great at the time, but then upon review of the final picture are less than what you expected, let’s prepare. Prepare?!?! I’ll bet you thought charging the battery was the hardest part of taking great photos, didn’t you? Sorry to disappoint you, but if you want to improve your photo results 50% in 2 minutes, let’s review some basic advice of the pros. Check the digital camera’s LCD screen for general framing of the picture, any movement, visibility of faces, and the histogram. Note that you can think up a fantastic photography pose; arrange everyone perfectly; and, have the photograph “frozen” (no blinking, and no shaking of the camera)…but, when you check it out in the LCD, you see 2 drunks fighting in the background! And, my favorite… Have some funny phrases handy to use just before you take the photo. Don’t use it when setting up for the shot. And, don’t use the same...
