Large Family Photography

We are a large family, 2 adults and 5 children, and we are taking family photos. We are planning to do take the photos outdoors at a park location. I want to find some creative ideas for taking standard family photos as well as photos for our Holiday Cards.

Where can I look for poses for taking family photos? I would also like to look at some other examples. Thanks!

Think about what describes your family, or your personalities. If you are an athletic family, maybe you want to add some soccer balls or basketballs. If you are a musical family, perhaps bringing some instruments into the photo would be fun? Hamming it up could be fun too, or picking a clothing theme. See if there are any other props you could use. Have fun!

I have been contracted (by family) to paint a large mural on a wall (finished drywall, no texture, primed) which will be used as a background in a portrait studio. I am not sure what kind of paint I should use...I know regular acrylics are out the window--too expensive for this scale, gloss latex wall paint will glare in the photograph, and I am unfamiliar with spray paint. The best guess I have is flat wall paint. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm looking for an online site, with a gallery of outdoor pictures, with different and unique poses. Large family poses, individual poses. I do all my photography outdoors, but I'm looking for a really creative pose for my kids 4th of July Picture. may be something or some place where theres a tree swing or play area that everyone uses as a point of reference, for memory sake, and as well any scenic forest or mountain background thats familiar to everyone as well, and take several, flash and none flash, and have fun, ☺

What kind of job could i get? and what kind of salary could i get?
any ideas, the economy is freaking me out a little i have a stable ESL teaching job right now, but want to return to the UK soon to be with friends and family.

I think you could only get a job in a foundry as a dresser, only joking you seem to have a good set of qualifications there.

Have you thought about teaching in the UK good well paid work
or working in health care.

With your qualifications people should be fighting to employ you very best of luck wish i had these you seem a very clever person.

On the negative side though people could so your "over" qualified hope they don't.

Has anyone produced photo wall calendars? I dont mean like inkjet-printed, spiral-bound family calendars to give at Christmas. I mean like the large ones you would buy in a shop. What is a cost-effective way to do this with good results? Say I want to print 500 calendars and sell them to tourists. Ditto for posters, my photography is of say of a city or landscape work.

walmart does calendars, and so does shutterfly.com
The best thing is to create it online, and have them shipped to you, or pick them up at walmart.
