Do 'H' cards offer more features? Would having an H card in my new Fuji Finepix Z3 provide the camera with any additional capalities?
And I just bought an XD non-h card, should I return it?
The H cards are supposed to be faster- but the difference is negligible. It's possible that the Z3 runs at the same speed, regardless of what card you use.
I don't think you need to return it.

I know that the M-xD do.
I'm about to buy a 1GB H-xD card for my S9100.
Yes,..I have a 9100 and a 5200....and 2 H1Gb and 1H2Gb cards...they work just fine....Just don't erase them if you put them in a card reader connected to your computer....you will have to re-format the card when you put the card back in the camera.....

im going to buy an XD card..but its an 'M' type...can i use it for my fuji finepix s5200?
They will both work with your Fujifilm camera. The "M" is designed for maximum durability and the "H" card provides improved write speeds (up to 2x to 3x faster than previous xD cards).
Only Olympus digital cameras and some Fujifilm cameras use this type memory card.

I am looking at buying a Fuji Finepix F20 camera. It takes those pesky Xd cards. I am curious, I know that the H card type is supposed to be faster, but can anyone confirm this? I've read that the H card isn't in some places, and that it is in others. Anyone have any experiences?
First of all, this is an excellent camera and I commend you on your choice. I have experimented with many makes and models over the last few years and this camera won every time for those in its price range and even a couple hundred dollars more. So far I have recommended it to three people including my grandmother and all of them find it to be very easy to use, take excellent pictures and work very reliably. The XD style cards seem to be a disadvantage at first due to the small number of brands that use them, but it really doesn't matter. First, Fuji cameras work very well with them, and there is no real price difference if you watch the Best Buy and Office Max/Staples advertisements for a few weeks. Second, by the time you need a new camera, no matter what memory card you use, it is a sure thing it will be obsolete with the advances in technology. In reference to card type, the M card is completely functional for this model and will cause no slowdowns with picture taking. It is what I have in all my Fuji cameras and works well, without the extra cost. The only reason you would want to invest the extra money into a H card is if you are planning to buy a as of yet unreleased camera and demand speeds much higher than most consumers. Either way, I am sure you won't be disappointed by this camera, or XD picture cards. Good luck and take lots of pictures!
I have an Olympus xD-Picture card H 1GB and I was wondering if it was compatible with the Finepix A330 because I already formatted it and whenever I took a picture it would always have "Write Error" and at times it wouldn't show.
According to the Fujifilm support website:

The Finepix A330 needs to upgrade the firmware in order to use the Type H XD cards - instructions are listed at the bottom of the webpage.

FujiFilm FinePix HS10 - ProductWiki unbiased product reviews
The FujiFilm FinePix HS10 is a fixed-lens point and shoot camera released in early 2010. Of FujiFilm’s Spring 2010 lineup, the HS10 is by far the best. For starters, it utilizes a powerful 30x optical zoom lens. It’s further bolstered by triple image stabilization (mechanical CMOS shift, digital stabilization, and ISO adjustment), a back-lit CMOS sensor optimized for low-light shooting, and support for RAW+JPEG still capture. Signature to the HS10 is its full support for 1080p high-definition video capture, not to mention an included HDMI v1.3 interface. Additional features include a 10fps burst mode, a movie mode that films up to 1000 frames per second, and a one-touch panorama mode.
Additional InformationThe HS10 is lacking, however, with its weaker 10.3MP CCD sensor (when compared to its peers) and its reliance on conventional AA batteries. It is otherwise the best model in the Spring 2010 release.
