soo i am interested in starting photography. i asked a family member and he gave me his camera. fujifilm finepix s1000 fd. 10 megapixels. 12x zoom.the camera is broken in the lens. can i just buy a new lens attachment and just swtich it out? if so how much would tht cost?


Sorry, but you can only change the lenses of an DSLR. Your camera is only a point-and-shoot camera, so you're just stuck with that lens. If it's broken you might as well just get a new camera.

how do you take pictures at night with the fujifilm finepix s1000 camera?

everytime i try to take pictures inside or when it is just getting dark i can't get the picture to be clear. other than using the flash, any other idea's on how to make the picture clearer. and don't even suggest getting a better camera lol. it works fine during the daytime. please be nice and thanks! :)

Is there a microphone i can connect to my fujifilm finepix s1000?

This microphone has really good features and hi def video. The only thing is that the mic sucks!! Is there some kind of microphone I can plug into the cameras usb or something?


No, you cannot connect an external microphone to your S1000fd camera, which btw, does NOT record video in high definition...but only records in a standard VGA quality of 640x480.

help. i've read the manual and got nothing. i've got NO idea if it has black and white as a setting/scene. if so, how do i activate it? if anyone could get back to me, it would be VERY helpful. thank you!


sorry they dont have that setting at all, only the canon cameras do. besides why did you get a fuji? they suck with digital cameras and better off with color film.
