Can i put different lenses on a Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD?
Lady Looks On

Or is that just not that type of camera?

Yes and no. You can add screw on adapters to the lens that is permanently attached to your camera but it is not an SLR that has interchangeable lenses. If you are looking for an SLR check out the Canon Rebels or the Nikon D40 or D60

How do I do the focus on an object with blurry backround on my FujiFilm Finepix S2000HD?
Blue Streets of Bath

like so:

I want to be able to focus on an object with a blurry backround!
Are there certain settings for my camera?
Can my camera not do it?

What steps can I take to process that result!?!?!?

if this camera has a setting called aperture priority, set it to the biggest possible aperture, which is actually the smallest f number...like f3.5 or something. If the aperture is set to a small aperture, ( or a LARGE number...like f11, or f16, just about everything will be in focus)

If you don't have aperture priority but can control the shutter speed, you want to pick a very fast shutter speed, even for a normal photo !! This will force the camera to pick an f number like f2.8 or f3.5

I am between these two cameras: Canon PowerShot SX110 IS VS FujiFilm FinePix S2000hd. Which is better?
Captured Sky

My question is only related to the quality of the camera's pictures. I don't care about camera's price or size, etc.
I only want to take good and amazing quality pictures.

canon is better

Which camera should I get Canon Powershot SX10 IS or Fujifilm Finepix S2000HD?
Red Reflectors

I have nothing but good things to say about Canon; but no experience with Fuji.

I have posted a link to a review that I found though...

Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD Digital Camera - Black

To start with I'm normally a DSLR user but I wanted something a little smaller for those occaisions when carrying the "big camera" wasn't practical. I didn't want a compact & I still wanted some quality & creativity so I needed a "halfway house". This camera fits the bill perfectly. Small & light but with enough features & modes to keep even a "photo junky" like me happy. Picture quality is great & when images are captured in the 16:9 modes they look fantastic on a large LCD tv (that's saying something coming from me because I'm very fussy!). The quality of the video in movie mode is very good & also looks good when played back on the tv.

If I have one "gripe" it's that the zoom control operates to fast & this makes small adjustments in focal length very difficult. That's the only real reason it didn't get the fifth star.
