Fujifilm Finepix S700

I just bought a fujifilm finepix s700, and now i want to buy a smaller camera so it will be easier to take places with me. i dont want anything close to the size of the fujifilm s700.. does anyone have any ideas of what i should get? i will pay close up to 200 for a nice small one. any ideas? i want atleast a 3x-5x optical zoom with atleast 4x digital zoom..

Homemade demo of the Fujifilm Finepix S700

I been wanting this camera for some time,Fujifilm FinePix S700 7.0MP,for those who know anything about Fuji or the camera itself,can you please tell me the pros,cons,or any other information you know about? Also, is the battery life good? Also,is it good quality-as far as its will last me a few years of picture taking?

It is a fine camera that will serve you well .. the best part is you can buy and use SD memory cards so if in four or five years you want to buy a camera that uses SD cards, you will not have to replace them.

FYI: The only other cameras that use xD cards are the Olympus and Fujifilm and Sony uses their proprietary Memory Sticks.

Well, it's okay, yes. I mean, if you just wanna take a few shots, sure go for it. It costs around $250 new.

I have a usb cable that came with it, and I found a place where one would go but it's too big. Is there another one or did they give me the wrong usb cable?

We're going to Oregon in the summer and I'd like to have my camera protected from the weather and from the splash of boat rides. Does waterproof housing exist for the finepix s700? If so, where can I find something?

You'll need the large case.

Otherwise, a specialized housing will cost more than a new camera. If you want a waterproof camera, look at the Pentax Optio W30.
