Fujifilm Finepix

I am unable to load the pics from my Fujifilm S5000/Finepix camera.
I have all the necessary software installed, but nothing happens when I connect the AC power adapter connector or a card reader. All that pops up is a prompt stating "It is safe to remove hardware"???
Does it sound like maybe it's a problem with the USB ports???
Any ideas?

Well....I tried everything but the xd card is still not being read.
Does anyone think this is a USB issue? And if so, what's the fix?

Is the card being regcognized when you have the camera off the adaptor?? Try just plugging the USB cable directly into the computer instead of taking out the card and inserting into the card reader....among my 8 Cameras are 4 Fuji's, and two of those are a 5200 and a 9100. I have different issues with xD cards,..but overall they are great Cameras and they never fail to show up when thyey are plugged into any of my MACS directly or on a Card Reader....

I'm looking for a new camera, and I'm really interested in the fujifilm finepix s1000fd. It seems like a really good camera, but in consumer reports, it says that it has only a 'good' picture quality, out of very good, and excellent. Please answer with the best of your knowledge. Thanks.

Yes,it is a great camera especially for the price.It has a lot of easy to use features.The pictures are great for outdoor but not too good for indoor.

How long does a fujifilm finepix digital camera take videos? i've heard that they can take up to 14 min. but on other sites they say only 60 seconds. plz help.

Your confusion is because different model numbers have different abilities and you didn't tell us what model number you are talking about. I have an F10, which I'm happy with. It will shoot video nonstop until the memory card is full. The biggest memory card it can handle is 2GB, which is about 28 minutes at the highest quality.

I've heard that you can but I can't figure it out. It's a Fujifilm Finepix A345 digital camera. I've tried google and everything. Can somebody please help me??

I bought a Fujifilm Finepix S1000FD and a Lexar 2 gig sd card but I dont have the camera yet.Will the card fit?Please help me.

It will work but remember to format it when you first insert it in the camera.
