Do Hasselblad Zeiss CF/CFI/CFE Lenses have distortion-free performance as good as Canon and Nikon's?

I know Hassy Zeiss Glass is proffessional but I heard that their optical designs are old.
Is that true?
Are they really older than Nikon and Canon's?
(I'm talking about distortion-free performance)

Just because a design is old it doesn't mean it is bad.

Zeiss glass is one of the (if not the) best around.

FS: Hasselblad H2F Film/Digital Camera:

The H2F is not just a 645 film camera as it can take any CF or CF-II or CF/CF-II Multi-Shot Hasselblad digital back ... and unlike a H1, or H2 is compatible with HCD lenses like the 28 and 35-90 when used with a Hassey digital back. (Note: all H cameras from H3D-II/22, 31, 39 onward will not take a film back.) The H2F also features an in-camera flash meter. The CF adapter works on this camera allowing use of most any Zeiss C, CF, CFi or CFE leaf shutter lens whether used as a film camera or as a digital camera ... lenses which are now supported by DAC corrections in Phocus software. All these lenses are programed into the H2F, and appear in the Grip LCD selector, including 1.4XE and 2XE extenders. IMO, film, especially B&W film delivers a different aesthetic, and it's been my experience that digital capture still cannot duplicate the look of it, or the tonal structure that film delivers ... deep rich blacks with detail, while holding subtile tone in the brights.
