Hey! i have a pink kodak camera and i have rechargeable batterys anytime i take a picture it says i have low batterys.. i have put it on the" kodak home" to charge it..but it doesnt seem to work? what do i need to do to charge the batterys? Do anykind of double AA's work with it??
thanks! =]]
First get some Everyready Lithium AA batteries. (These are NOT rechargeables).
Second, stop using the monitor on the camera as much as possible. If the camera has a viewfinder, use that to take your photos.
Third, don't be using the monitor to be looking at photos any more than absolutely necessary.
Do those three things and you will have LONG LONG battery life.

I'm having a problem transfering my pictures from my Kodak Easyshare m753 camera.
The easyshare software keeps freezing, and I can't transfer any pics.
and if i try to use a different program, it says my camera isent plugged in, so im guessing it can only work on kodyeasyshare.
please help! :(
Have you downloaded the update to 6.0? I have a Z740 and using the 5.0 version. Every time I download the 6.0, it screws everything up then I have to go to Kodak and use the Clear Utility to remove it from my computer. The add/remove programs on the control panel will not remove all of the Kodak program. Then I just re-install using the disk that came with the camera...............

I have one of those small Kodak digital cameras that are becoming quite popular now. I always take pictures using the "auto" mode.
I enjoy taking pictures of nature, and most of the time they turn out good, but whenever I try to take pictures in the forest, they always come out blurred. I am not shaking the camera (I have tried setting it down with auto-take) and I have thoroughly cleaned the lens. My theory is that the difference in light coming through the trees, or the many different distances of the branches from the camera are messing it up. I don't have any knowledge of the workings of digital cameras though, so any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Assuming that the autofocus is working properly, it IS most likely camera shake causing the problem.
Going from bright sunshine into a shaded area is about a 4-5 EV shift, which means you need 4-5 stops more of some combination of aperture or exposure time. As a guess you can get maybe 1-1.5 stops from opening up the aperture as far as possible from the sunshine scene's auto-exposure setting, leaving you with having to have the shutter open up to 16x as long as your sunny scenes, and the longer the exposure time, the worse the effects of camera shake.
My old Nikon camera showed up as a removable disk. This was really helpful, because I could upload pictures directly off of it without importing them. I could also use it as a usb and transfer music/documents on it.
My Kodak camera shows up under Cameras, and won't let me access my pictures unless I import them. Is there some way to make my computer recognize it as a removable disk? Or is there some way to upload my pictures to the internet straight off of the camera?
In your camera options you may be able to find a place to change your camera to a removable drive. Your computer should then recognize the camera as a drive so you can send pictures or any files from the computer to the camera which now acts like a drive. I have an HP camera that can do that.
If you or any of your friends use AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, the second source link should be of great help in getting the camera and batteries to work much better.
Digital Cameras require lots of power. Batteries may have a full charge, but will be viewed by the camera as low if contacts are not good. The LCD display is a steady load, but with extending the lens, focus, optical zoom, and flash charging; it is a heavy load. The camera can do strange things like shutting off with the lens out.
