Kodak Easyshare C613

I am trying to import videos i took with my new Kodak Easyshare c613 camera to WindowsMovieMaker but they are showing up as invalid (they are .avi files) . ive tried downloading programs to convert these files to .wmv but nothing works. these videos are important for a show i post on youtube but they wont upload! please help me to convert these files!

As you may convert AVI to WMV which can edit in WindowsMovieMaker. And for youtube, it always support WMV and MPEG4 files.

I have a Kodak EasyShare C613 Camera and it will focus on words and stuff like that when taking pictures. But it wont focus when making videos!
any help?

To record a movie...Half press the shutter button to lock in the focus and white balance, etc. Then press it fully down to start recording. You cannot focus in and out while recording your video.

If you want to record things close-up, you should first try pressing the Macro button (this is usually an icon of a flower) and then half-press the shutter button to lock in the focus, etc. etc. and then start recording.
Canon cameras (and others), allow you to use Macro while recording a video. If in doubt, check your User Manual.

when i plug my kodak easyshare c613 into the usb drive it is sensed by the computer and when i try to install it, it says that the necessary software can't be found. i have already install the kodak easyshare software and i cant think of what else needs to be installed please help me!!!

You can use a USB card reader and no software is required.

The cd that came with the camera is not uploading on my computer. The software is Kodak EasyShare C613. Can anyone plllleeeeaaassseee give me helpful information??

if u r downloading it from CD .... than firrst copy the content of CD to a new folder in C: and then try installing from there.... this also happened with me..

i have had a kodak c613 for less than 2 wks and already not working. i did drop it, but literally only just a small amount, i was bending over at the time.. does anyone know how to fix this without sending it away? it switches on, it clicks as if the lens is trying to extend, then the error msg and it switches off. grrrrr!!!! thanks x

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension.

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:
