I just got the Kodak EasyShare camera with the docking station that let's you print your pictures, and the whole thing is confusing. I would like tips on how to take great photos and how to use my camera in general. Any advise will be appreciated, I am getting frustrated! I thought this would be FUN, but so far, it's just not working out that way. Thanks to all who have advice!

Hi, my Kodak Easyshare camera got completely wet when I was taking pictures at niagara. Now it does not work anymore. I tried replacing batteries with no success. Could anyone let me know how to fix this, please? Thanks
You need to let it dry out completely, for at least 3 days, before trying to power it up again. Tip it so that there is a seam at the bottom, and set it on something absorbent. The batteries should be out while it's drying. If it still doesn't work after that, it's probably fried from trying to power it up wet.

I have a Kodak Easyshare M1063 camera. I haven't had it long and don't take many pictures so it hasn't been used a lot, but lately I try to take a picture and the minute I hit the zoom the whole camera shuts off. I thought it was just the battery needed charged so I put it back on the printer dock, but it is completely charged and still doing the same thing. What could be wrong?
Get on a boat, then throw it on the ground like a boss. That fixes anything.

I just bought a new Kodak easyshare camera and I have an old one. The one is a Z760 and the new one is a M893. Do I need to upload the software that came with the new camera to upload the pictures? Will uploading the new software erace all my old pictures from the old software?
It's up to you.
If you want, you can keep using your old version of EasyShare software.
Or if you prefer, grab the latest version from Kodak's website. Every so often, they'll add a new feature. It's not worth updating for every single version, but after a few years the improvements do add up.
Updating (or even deleting) your EasyShare software will NOT delete your photographs.
I use a Kodak EasyShare M893. I have my camera plugged in and I already downloaded the software, but nothing is happening. My camera is connected (It says it is). But I don't know how to download pictures off of it onto my computer (Windows Vista) and obviously it's not doing it automatically. What do I need to do?
try this:
1. Launch the software
2. connect the camera
3. turn it on
Note: A transfer window will appear. If not, right click on the Kodak logo in the system tray then select transfer now.
4. Or click on Add button on the Kodak software, then select the camera.
