KODAK EASYSHARE Z915 Digital Camera / Black or Fujifilm S1500 ?

i really wannt a great camera which will get a clear shot. I want it to be as close to a slr as possible, im not sure which camera is better quality. I think the fujifilm looks better but the kodak one is cheaper. They both take good pictures i think the kodak ones are slightly better; but im not sure, please help?

I use Steves Digicams for reviewing cameras. They have unbiased reviews and tons of info on many many models. They seem to base their opinions on a particular model rather than the manufacturer as a whole.

Im including links to the conclusions page for both the models you are looking at. You can go from there to read their full reviews. They werent overly impressed with image quality of either it seems. You would have to read further to see which one best suits your needs.

Youre talking about low priced cameras. Essentially though the Fuji looks more like a DSLR doesnt mean it performs more like one. Consider the features of each independent of what the cameras look like. Your choice should depend mostly on what type of photos do you take most.

Quick test video. Sorry it's kinda messy, but I just wanted to show how it records video.

do you like the Kodak EasyShare Z915?

I just asked a question about the Canon Rebel XS and I'm hesitant on getting it because i'm not nearly as into photography as most people out there that would read these reviews. someone told me about this camera instead. I want to find a camera that works really well and is capable of taking some photos that are photography quality, i guess you could say, but I just feel too guilty spending like $500. I'm not looking into having a career with photography, and i'm not very passionate about it. I do love photography, and i think its beautiful, but i'm totally clueless with cameras and would feel better about getting a $300 camera or so.

the only camera i have ever owned is a crappy bulky little hp 5 megapixel digital camera, from 2 years ago. it has like a 1 inch screen... and very few features.

i want a camera that can take clear, vivid pictures, has some neat features or different settings. I think itd be really need to be able to take photos that aren't blurry at all, that are very vivid, and to be able to get the beautiful colors of a sunset.
I also just want to hangout with friends and take pics, and for them to turn out well.

I'm considering any camera that will work well, i don't want it to take forever just to take 2 pics in a row. my friend had a camera once that too like 10 seconds to load per picture. i want it to be quick =)

Any suggestions? do you like the kodak easyshare z915?

No, I do not like the Kodak Z-Series and would not recommend any camera in that line up. They all are under-performing cameras. If you use the zoom lens all the way zoomed out it will be virtually impossible to take a photo that is not blurry unless you use a tripod. You would be much better off sticking with a different brand that makes cameras in that same category like Panasonic, Olympus, Sony, Canon, or Nikon. All of these brands make "super-zoom" cameras that are all better than the Kodak super-zooms. Check out the Panasonic FZ and LX series, which I find to be very nice to use, or any of the other brands at amazon or walmart.com. If you would really like an SLR and could maybe go up to $400 you should get the Olympus E-420 or any of the other E series SLRs from them cause they have excellent prices for really great cameras. Check out the E-420 bundle from wally world here http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d o?product_id=12560763 . If you eventually think that you someday might be more into photography and will start to invest more heavily into it then you might not want to get the Olympus if you eventually plan to start getting Canon cameras cause the lenses that you buy for the Olympus will not work, but other than that I would absolutely suggest you get it.

Which digital camera is the best out canon and kodak(2)?

I want to buy a digital camera and i narrowed it down to the Canon PowerShot SX120-IS, Kodak EasyShare Z915 and the Kodak Easyshare Z950. Which one out of three have the BEST picture quility and the best features?

Check out Amazon's Customer reviews of the cameras.
They both have similar consumer ratings, but you'll find different positives and negatives about each of the cameras. Use this information to make your own determination.

Different things are more important to different people, so there's really no way to say "This camera is better than that one" Because it really depends on your personal preference.

Which digital camera is better?

I'm not a professional, but want good pictures of my kids, action shots, landscapes, etc. Looking to spend under $300. I have my eye on two, Kodak Easyshare Z915 and the Sony Cybershot DSC-H20. I don't want the price to be the deciding factor, Kodak is cheaper. Anyone own either of these? Other cameras under $300 that may be better?

"The Kodak EasyShare Z915 is a compact, versatile digicam for the photographer on a budget. It can be used by anyone with Smart Capture (auto mode) for beginners or full manual mode for more advanced photographers. The 10x optical zoom lens and optical image stabilization really make this camera stand out, as it only has a MSRP of US 199.95. This is the way to go if you are looking for as much versatility as you can get for as little as possible. If you'd like better image quality and can deal with a shorter zoom range, take a look at a camera like the Canon Powershot A1100 IS"

"These enhancements have transformed the Sony H20 into one of only a handful of digital cameras that manage to achieve maximum user satisfaction with a minimum of frustration. Is it a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 beater then? In some respects, yes. The full-manual exposure mode is a real competitive advantage, even with the inevitably limited aperture control provided; the flash is more powerful and the lens provides more telephoto range. On the other hand, the H20 lacks true wide angle, where the TZ7 goes out to a nearly ultra-wide 25mm equivalent. Furthermore, the TZ7 is more solidly built, has a dedicated exposure compensation button and arguably produces sharper images with less distortion (though the H20 is not that far behind). At the end of the day, the choice between these two cameras boils down to what kind of photographer you are and what features you value more."

"In summary, the DMC-TZ7 is the best travel-zoom camera yet. Even the annoyingly loose Shooting Mode dial and slightly higher launch price don't detract too much from what is simply a fantastic camera. One of the best compacts of 2008 just got even better..."
