Kodak printer?

i have a kodak g610 printer dock, and the pictures were coming out with a blue-ish tint and fuzzy. i did the self test like they told me to, but nothing changed. i tried it again, and some red/yellow/blue/white film came out on top of the picture. now it's coming out of the printer and it's neverending.
what did i do wrong and how can i fix it?


Sounds like your Ribbon broke... you need to remove it from your printer and buy a new Kodak Ribbon/paper package.. to insert a new one.. the ribbon could of been defective..

Will a Pictbridge compatible camera work with a Kodak printer?

I have always owned Kodak digital cameras so I have the whole setup. Recently my camera broke and I started looking for a new one and decided to go with a Canon SD750. While reading it says it will be able to print to any Pictbridge printers. I know that when I transfered pictures my camera always said pictbrige on the screen so I started to wonder if I would be able to transfer to Kodak printer using USB or something. I am selling my Kodaks to pay for new camera and will try to sell printer dock if it will be useless. Thanks for any info you have!

Are all Kodak easyshare cameras able to work on the same kodak printer dock?

i am considering getting my girls digital cameras for christmas. Both of the cameras are kodak easy share. One is the MD853, and the other is the C613. the C613 comes with a printer dock bundle. I was wondering if only that camera will work, or will the other camera work on it as well.

Also what is the opinion on the kodak cameras? are they good for beginners?

As for a Kodak for beginners you can't beat them. I carry one everywhere and even use it in preference to my canon eos 400d at times

    Back in December I wrote about HP and Kodak’s war of words ( HP Kodak At War – Low Printer Prices! ) over Kodak’s advertising claims and the low cost of their printer cartridges. Here’s an update to the saga.

    When Kodak started advertising for their line of printer cartridges they claimed consumers could save, on average, $110 per year on the cost of ink. HP took exception to this and commissioned some research to find out if the claim was true. The study found that a person would have to print at least four pages per day to realize the kind of savings Kodak touted.

    In December the Federal Trade Commission forced Kodak to alter their advertising campaign to include the four printed pages per day. Ah, but are they now correct?

    Nope.

    The average home printer user only prints about two pages per day (Source: Lyra Research). I focus on the home user because that is who Kodak’s advertising was targeting. Kodak’s cost savings claim is based on a number that is twice as high as the actual number of pages printed. To realize the savings Kodak claims you would have to be printing almost 1500 pages per year. If the average home printer user prints two pages per day they will print 730 pages in a year.
