I have a Konica 7150 copier, I and I am interested in connecting it to my laptop of or my desktop to also serve as a printer. Is this possible and how? Please help out.
That should be no problem. Chances are, you will be connecting via the usb cable. Run it from the printer to the computer. Then, you'll need to install the "driver" on the computer. Normally, that would be a CD provided by Konica. But, do to the MANY updates that Windows and MAC (which ever one you're using) send out, you're much better off going to Konica's website and downloading an updated driver from there. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. They may need you to download and install the driver BEFORE connecting the printer. I don't know for certain, because each manufacturer is different. But be aware of that. BTW, if you have both a laptop and a desktop, just install the driver in both.

I have a Konica Minolta Page Pro 1350 and use compatible cartridges rather than the Konica Minolta brand, which are more expensive. But I'm now getting messages on the display that say "it isn't a genuine Konica." and it won't print but one page before I have to push a button to make it continue. It's driving me batty.
Is there anything I can do to override this message display?? Help!
Use a genuine toner.
They cost a bit more for a reason, they are specifically designed to work on the hardware and have the CORRECT toner powder in it.
TONER is NOT all the same, different grades, sizes of grain, etc etc etc-
Use the RIGHT toner for the machine, it will last better

Hi, we recently got a Konica 7145 copier that has network printing capabilities and supports IPP. We have a small P2P network. I have tried repeatedly to get it to print over the network without success.
I can ping the copier's IP just fine. I am able to access the web utility so I know that I can connect to the copier via TCP/IP. IPP is enabled. Any ideas are appreciated!
Richard, I downloaded both PCL and PostScript drivers from the Konica/Minolta website. I have tried both drivers on mulitple workstations. I have tried printing using both LPR and sending raw data via TCP ports 9100, 5500, and 10001. I have tried printing to the spooler and directly. Everything has failed so far.
UPDATE: I just added a second network printer to the network and had no problems setting it up. The other printer is a Brother MFC-8460N. The Konica still does nothing. If I press the "printer" button on the Konica copier, on the LCD screen it says "Ready to Print" and underneath it says "Network Initializing." Thanks everyone!
Hi, Your best bet is use the PCL driver if you dont know if you have postscript installed. Open the printer properties, click the "PORTS" tab, click "ADD PORT", double click "STANDARD TCP/IP".New window opens, then click "NEXT", enter IP address of the copier, click "NEXT", on next page ignore everything and click "NEXT" again, click "FINISH" window will close and you will see the small "PRINTER PORTS" window again, click"CLOSE", click "CONFIGURE PORT", in the PROTOCOL box click"LPR"in the "LPR SETTINGS" the "QUEUE NAME" is "PORT1", also click the "LPR BYTE COUNTING" box, then click "OK" window will close, on original properties window click "APPLY". You should be ready to print now.
I have recently purchased a Sony A 200 digital slr camera and was wondering if I must purchase a new Sony external flash or can I use an older konica minolta flash? Or for that matter can I use a different brand external flash? Thanks in advance.
I suggest contacting these Sony Alpha user groups and asking them.

I recently found a Konica C35 EFP camera. My only problem is that I am not exactly sure how to manually rewind the film. I don't want to play around with it too much because I do not want to ruin the pictures I took.
Thank you.
There is a small button underneath the camera you need to press to disengage the film wind mechanism, press this and you can rewind the film back into the cassette.
Heres the manual for your camera.
