Is a sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 apo macro super 2 lens for a 35 mm minolta camera work for any digital cameras?

If your lens is for the older Minolta manual focus cameras like the SRT-202 or XG-9 or XE-7 or X-700 then it is not compatible with any current DSLR.

If your lens is for the Minolta Maxxum 7000 and later series cameras then it will work fine on the Sony Alpha Series DSLR cameras.

However, you should be able to find an MC/MD/AF adapter to use it on the Sony DSLRs with some searching. Try keh.com and bhphotovideo.com and adorama.com and beachcamera.com and huntscamera.com. Please note that you will have limited functions using the lens - stop down metering, manual focus.

There is also an adapter to use the older Minolta MC/MD lenses on the Canon DSLR cameras.

how much should i sell a Minolta AF 100-300mm f4.5-5.6 xi zoom in great condition for?

i have a lens i would like to sell i think how much should i sell this one for, with out getting ripped off.

It only works properly on a very limited number of cameras, and the Sony DSLR's aren't on the list.

It wasn't a very good lens to begin with.

$50-$75 is all it is worth, on a good day.

i have minolta AF 75-300mm lens,i want buy nikon D40 dsl.will this lens be compatible with this camera?help ?

No. Your lens fits Sony DSLR's only.

I own a Minolta Dynax 300SI on which I have fitted a Sigma 28 - 300mm lens. Can the lens fit any digital SLR

Yes, you can use your lens on the Sony DSLR cameras.

Will a minolta lense fit an olympus camera?

I just purchased an olympus evolt e-500 digital camera, but it's the body only. I have a quantaray 70-300mm macro lense which fit my original camera, a minolta maxxum slr 35mm. Does anybody know if this lense will fit my new camera? If not, does anyone know where I can find a used lense that will fit, cause new they are too expensive.

No, you can't, sorry to say. Each brand makes their own signature mount, and minolta and olympus don't share the same mount. To my knowledge, the only ones that have the same mount is fuji and nikon. ( The F-Mount ).

that's a refurbished lens from http://amazon.com, if you don't like that lens, you should look for more here: http://amazon.com, and you can see more that you like

The one i chose for you was like 40-130mm lens or something close, which is similar to the one you have.

I'd probably try to find a Vivitar 100-400mm f/4.5-6.7 Series 1 Autofocus lens in Minolta AF (a.k.a., Dynax, Maxxum, Alpha) mount. They're usually around $200 or less on the used market. I doubt you're going to do any better in a zoom lens that reaches out to 400mm with a $400 budget, and they seem to be well liked by users. These are made by Cosina and also sold under other brand names. But, the Vivitar branded version should be the easiest to locate. If you want to go longer than 300mm (typical for most budget zooms), your choices are going to be *very* limited with a $400 budget. If you can find a Minolta 100-400mm f/4.5-6.7 AF lens, that would be a good bet. But, they're usually $500+ on the used market now. So, the Vivitar is probably the best bet within that budget (if you want a lens reaching out further than the common 70-300mm type zooms). Another alternative would be a Minolta 500mm f/8 AF Reflex (Mirror) lens. But, it's a fixed focal length lens (no zoom), and has...
