Since everyone is buying digital cameras these days, what is the best way for me to sell my older 35mm Minolta camera with a zoom lens and some attachments? Who would be most interested in such a camera?
You'll get the most $$ on eBay.
If the lens is an off-brand (like Makinon) sell it with the camera as it's practically worthless.
If it's a Minolta lens sell it in a separate listing. Same with Minolta flashes and other name-brand items.
You can also try craigslist and kijiji but in my experience auction is less hassle and nets you more bucks.
Hope this helps and good luck.
I might be getting a 35mm minolta camera (http://media.photobucket.com/image/35mm% 20minolta/CLINT_ASVLN/asvlnblog/08_08_02 .jpg) and I'm interesting in putting my photography onto deviantart; how can I do that? It's a little older so I doubt it has a USB attachment or something. It takes film and stuff. Is there no way?
No, you can't connect a film camera to a computer, a photo lab can put the prints on to CD for you then you can import and upload them. Or scan prints yourself if you have a scanner.
Hard to find.

i have looked on eBay amazon and many other website finding a huge variety of choices for camera lenses. I can not figure out what lens is right for my camera i would like a fish-eye lens for my self adjusted Minolta 35 mm. Please help i don't want to spend over 100$ on the wrong product.
The best you can get is the MC ROKKOR 16mm f2.8 180 degree fisheye. Unfortunately, its bringing a lot more than $100.00. I paid $212.00 + shipping for mine a few years ago.Its an awesome lens.

Can you help me with a website or a phone number, my 4yr old droped it and the shutter is broke, it won't open or shut. Thank you.
minolta cameras are now repaired by sony! err! i got a defective laptop from them with a NON valid Windows, straight from the factory! HATE sony!
It's always best to send cameras to the manufacture. Another source for repair is BDC camera repair Madison Wisconsin. They will estimate before repairs. Camera body's are rather inexpensive now . Have you thought of used?
I am looking to buy one that is about 12 years old. It's $50, and the main draw is that it has a telephoto lense with it. I would really like to experiment some with a telephoto lense, but this is the only way that I can afford one. Do you think that it is worth the money? Thanks
12 years old is nothing, provided it wasn't abused by its owner.
I own a 35 year old Canon Canonet QL17 GIII that still works fine.
$50 is great for a camera and lens. People are plunking down $1000 for that in a DSLR, and then feeling like they save because they don't have to pay for film. You could take over 3500 pictures and still have more money. That's a roll a month for 10 years.
Buy Cheap
I have a Minolta Maxxum 5000i 35mm SLR camera. I'm trying to find ...
I’d like to buy a zoom lens. If it says that the lens will fit any Minolta camera, am I good to go? Or do I need to buy a ring or mount or something to attatch it? If so, where can I find those?
Thank you to all the people answering these questions for me. Photography has become a new passion to me and I’m still pretty clueless about a lot of things… You need to remember that there are 2 different Minolta lens mounts – MC/MD and the A-mount.
The MC/MD mount lenses are manual focus and were for Minolta cameras like the SRT-202, XG-9, XE-7, X-700, etc.
When Minolta introduced the Maxxum 7000 Auto Focus camera in 1985 they changed to the A-mount. The older MC/MD mount lenses will not mount to your Maxxum 5000i. There is an adapter to allow using the older lenses on your camera.
So, as you can see, a seller who states that their lens will "fit any Minolta camera" doesn’t know what they are talking about.
