Revere 33 Stereo Camera and Minolta III meter--which flash device is compatible?

I have a Revere 33 stereoscopic camera and a Minolta III Flash/Light meter. I do not have a flash for either device currently, but I would like to get one. Do I have to get a flash device compatible with the Minolta II, or the stereo camera? I assume the flash meter, so that it can determine the current light with the flash.

In any case, what flash device would be compatible? Thanks.
Minolta III, not II. Sorry.

Flash meters are measuring the light given off by the flash, whether it is attached to a Revere 33 or 8x10 inch view camera. As long as your camera has either a PC connection or hot shoe than can connect to your flash system, the meter will give you an accurate reading.

Where can I find a Konica Minolta PCT-100 flash adapter to use with a Maxxum 5D, new or used?

I am looking for a PCT-100 Minolta flash adapter or a FS-1100 flash shoe adapter for a Minolta Maxxum 5D camera. Where can I find one?

They exited the business, but Sony took it over. Here is the article:

Bottom line you should still find what you are looking for. Try Ritz, Ebay or specialty stores. Good luck!

What flash is compatible with a minolta maximum 7000?

I am looking on ebay for my son and I need to find a cheep flash for his minolta maximum 7000 camera. I need to know what flashes are compatible with that camera? Thanks

Well almost any flash providing it has enough power to fill your sons needs. If your camera has both a hot and p/c plug "you are in like flynn". If you only have a "hot shoe". Then you are stuck with hot shoe flashes or get a hot shoe to p/c adapter. The adapters that protect your camera contacts are around $50 plus of course, plus the cost of the flash. The adapters usually convert hot shoe (on the camera) to p/c use. and protect your electrical contacts from overload.

If you need the adapter, I would reccommend the wein adapter.

have flash unit for minolta cameras. hot shoe is different looking for optical slave unit to use on this flah?

I have a Cobra 700 AF - MI dedicated auto-focuss flash unit. Unfortunately those were made for minolta cameras and the hot shoe is different. I am not looking for an adapter for this flash unit to attach it to other cameras or an optical slave unit to use this flash as a slave. Can anyone tell me where I could get this.
Thank you

You might try the wein hot shoe to hot shoe safe sync slave. I am not sure though if it will work

The Minolta Auto 118X is recommended. You should be able to find one on ebay.

This is the original flash that came with my Minolta XD11 when I bought it back in 1978. It got so much use that the little guides that made it fit into the hotshoe on too of my camera wore/broke off. Well, I devised this workaround so that I could continue using it with the Minolta. I wired in a line out to plug into the Flash synch, attached it to a metal stand and voila! It worked perfectly. Although you can tell I've used it so much just about all the silver reflective material is gone from around the sealed flash area. Guest Passes let you share your photos that aren't public.
