I like the features and resolution quality of Nikon cameras so I want to know of the current Nikon DSLR lineup which should I go for when it comes to low light sports photography?
I like my D200 also, but I have not tried it in low light sports applications. If you are going to get Nikon regardless of the above recommendations, then the D200 is pretty good, but you might consider stepping up to the D2X or D2Xs. It has a slightly higher pixel count and can actually shoot a cropped image at 8 fps. The D2X is rated at a longer shutter life than the D200 and if you use a lot of "motor drive," typical of sports photography, this might make s difference. It also has the CMOS sensor that seems to help the Canon's in those low light (high ISO) situations, so Panacea might even approve.
Whichever brand and whichever camera you choose, get an image stabilization lens! VR for Nikon or IS for Canon. Man, I imagine the Nikon 200-400 f:4.0 VR (constant) lens is a treat to use.
3.0-inch color LCD screen; 170-degree wide-angle viewing
Nikon EXPEED image processing; in-camera image editing and Active D-Lighting
10.2-megapixel DX-format imaging sensor for prints up to 20 x 30 inches
Using a DSLR camera (especially Nikon D3000) how i can focus two or more objects at a time? Suppose a group of 4 people are there, how I can get the focus on all the 4 peoples eye ? Any body please answer.
What you have is a Depth of Field (DOF) problem. Three factors affect DOF:
1) The focal length of the lens.
2) The f-stop (aperture) chosen.
3) Subject distance.
At http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html you'll find a good explanation of DOF and a handy DOF Calculator you can use to compute DOF for any combination of focal length, f-stop and subject distance imaginable. Since there is a list of cameras to choose from (yours is on the list) your results will be accurate.
Obviously I've no idea of how you'd be posing the 4 people in your question so I'll just use this as an example and pose them in a 4 foot x 4 foot square so that side to side and front to back they are 4 feet apart. I'll choose a 50mm focal length and focus on the people closest to us. By referring to the DOF Calculator we find:
50mm @ f16 focused at 10 feet our DOF is from 2'-9" in front of our subject at 10 feet to 6'-3" behind our subject. All 4 of our subjects will be in focus.
50mm @ f16 focused to 9 feet our DOF is from 2'-4'' in front of our subject at 9 feet to 4'-9" behind our subject. Again, all 4 of our subjects will be in focus but we have less margin of error for our 2 subjects at the rear of our 4 foot square. If 1 of them moved to 5 feet that subject would be out of focus.
As you can easily see, the closer we get to our subject the less DOF we have. If we chose a shorter focal length lens then we'd have to be concerned with possible distortion of our subjects and the ones at the back would look smaller than the ones in front. If we chose a longer focal length we'd need to be much farther back than 10 feet. We could probably get good results with a 35mm lens but any shorter of a focal length can cause the aforementioned problems.
Of course, if we group our 4 subjects closer together it becomes easier to get all 4 in focus even with a longer focal length lens or a larger f-stop such as f11 or even f8.
So go to the referenced site and play around with the DOF Calculator.

So, Christmas is near and I asked my parents if I can have a Nikon D40x camera because it is cheap. Besides, I'm just a teenager and I'm just starting. But I don't know if they would approve.
P.S I am an honor student and if you told me to be good in your studies, well I am already trying.
Sorry! I'm not from America..
Sweetheart ... and I offer that as a general term of endearment. It is NOT intended to be offensive, obnoxious, condescending, or sexist ... though, I must admit, I have yet to use it to an adult male, apart from my own two grown up sons ... I don't believe there's any reason for you to be so defensive. There are few of us who would jump down your throat and tell you to be good in your studies though, it does go without saying, that you should do your best, but I'd suggest that you should mention it to your parents. Sorry, I don't know them or I might have tried for you. <grin>
You could help your cause by finding some websites that talk about the Nikon D40X ... reviews, etc., and find sites that offer it for sale. This would give them some sort of idea as to how much it's likely to cost, and they could assess whether or not they feel you're worth it (I'm sure you are) or whether you've been naughty or nice this past year.
You might like to show them what the camera is capable of, and tell them how much more you'll love them if they get you one. (Maybe a few promises of what you'll do around the house will help here. lol.)
I'm afraid I'm the other side of the Atlantic ocean to yourself so you may have better luck in finding sites that are specific to America. I have listed a few sites below, though, that might help you put your case together.
I wish you the very best of luck, dear lady.
I'm getting into photography and I most likely will be getting my camera within the next couple of weeks. I'm debating whether I should get a Nikon or a Canon. I'm leaning more towards a Canon but their lenses are very expensive. I need help choosing!! COMMENTS HIGHLY APPRECIATED!!! Thanks!
Both are great companies and make great cameras. So do other companies. Canon and Nikon tend to be overpriced for you get, you pay a premium for buying the popular kids.

Canon EOS 7D Review
The Canon EOS 7D has an 18-megapixel 22.3 x 14.9 mm APC-S CMOS sensor with a 1.6x focal length, and can shoot 8fps stills or up to 1080p HD (at 24, 25 or 30 fps) or 720p HD (50 or 59.94 fps) video. ISO ranges from 100 to 6,400, with an “H” setting offering 12,800, and there’s a new 19-point autofocus system that allows you to specify broader AF zones (as opposed to a single point) together with default focus settings for landscape and portrait orientations. Inside there are two of Canon’s DIGIC 4 processors.

Around the back there’s a 3-inch, 920k pixel LCD display along with Canon’s first viewfinder with 100-percent field of view and 1x magnification. There are more hardware controls, too, including a useful dedicated JPEG/RAW button (that captures the next shot taken in both formats), while the EOS 5D’s row of under-LCD controls have been moved to the left-hand edge, and the whole thing is weatherproof (though not to be confused with weather-resistant). At 148 x 111 x 74 mm and 860g it’s roughly the same size as the Nikon D300, though slightly heavier, and feels well constructed and sturdy.
