L18 Nikon

I recently got a new laptop and moved, and in the process of moving, I think I lost the disk that has the software I need to download for my Nikon L18. Can I download it anywhere else?

Can i transfer videos to nikon l18 or do i have to first use a usb card reader, get the videos into the memory card?
can i play videos on it???

Dear brar,
You can transfer videos to your camera, through usb cable which connect to your camera, otherwise you can use usb card reader.
You want to play movie on camera, you have to convert on that format, which your camera support.

I have added videos onto my sd card. wat format should i convert them to to get my nikon l18 to play them??

Your camera is NOT a playback device.

You will find that P&S cameras will only playback images produced by the camera and not modified in any way. ... this includes copying video files to your computer and then attempting to copy them back to the card. This usually changes the file just enough to prevent the camera from "seeing" the file

I'm looking at buying the Nikon L18 but want to know how well it takes pictures at night. I'm looking for a digital camera which takes awesome night pictures. I have a Canon S3 IS and takes horrible night shots. I'm taking pictures of monuments at night like the Eiffel Tower or the water show at the Bellagio. I've read the reviews at circuit city and best buy but can't find any reviews about whether or not the L18 takes good night shots.

How well the images come out has more to do with camera movement than the camera itself.

Shoot using the proper mode and steady the camera so you don't get image blur caused by movment

I got the Nikon Coolpix L18, and I noticed some people can do these color effects with their cameras, where you can choose to show certain colors and the rest is black and white.
Can you do that with my model camera?
