Nikon Coolpix L100

I have a field trip tomorrow and i want to take pictures. i have a Nikon Coolpix L100. It's awesome and it's mine. i want to take to my field trip but i don't want to look dorky with it. Everyone else has those little rectangle digital cameras. Will i look weird if i take my camera?

No, I don't think you will look weird. You have a nice camera and you should be proud to own it. Some of those little cutesy cameras look like toys! Yours looks like a camera, which it is. Have fun on your field trip!

I am willing to buy Nikon P90 but running out of money. So I am buying Nikon L100. So does Nikon L100 gives value for money? Is it a good camera overall?

Well the Nikon L100 is an awesome camera.
If it is the best value for the money really depends on your needs and wants though.
I did some very obsessive research recently on cameras and the L100 was a strong contender, but I ended up opting for the Samsung SL420 which costs significantly less.
Both cameras have good reliability reviews - and both have sharp image quality.
The L100 has certain high end features like a 15x zoom, but it depends if you will need those high end features if it is worth paying the extra cash for it.

If you just want a good reliable average camera, I would save money and get the sl420. If you want something with more kick then yeah the L100 has it.

i dont know which one to get!
i really love photography, and taking pictures and such.
but by no means am i an expert.
more of a.. beginner.
but i actually want to get a nicer camera because all of the cameras i have are crap.

i think the nikon is better for a beginner and i am also thinking about getting the nikon L100 also..i like the look of it

S1500 have less optical zoom than nikon L100. But which better to buy? does Fuji S1500 has manual focus?

both are good choice providing good overall performance and durability. good image clarity and are value for money product. if you want to capture more far away objects then go with nikon. if else go with fujifilm as its a new model and provides more durability.
