Nikon Coolpix L3

i have a nikon coolpix L3 digital camera. I am starting to really get into photography and videotaping, and all the files to the movies are .MOV and on windows movie maker, it doesnt work. any ideas on what converters actually work? because ive tried 5 different converters, and one has worked but it was a 1 video trial.

purchase the full version. a lot of digital editing softwares aren't free for long, but they pretty much r ur only way to do what u want.

Problem with this Nikon, the lcd monitor won't show anything ANYTHING!! so if you know how to fix that it would be helpful

The Nikon Coolpix L3 uses 2 AA size batteries.
For cost effectiveness...I would recommend you buy a pack of four NiMH rechargeable AA size batteries plus a charger. Get high powered batteries of at least 2500mAh.
It is a simple to use budget camera, probably aimed at beginners...meaning it is ok, but it's a bit slow to operate (especially the flash recycle time) and it doesn't perform too well in low light. Also the 2.0" LCD screen is fairly poor with a low res. of only 86,000 dpi. Many screens on other cameras have a resolution of at least 115,000-230,000 dpi.
There are obviously cameras available that are much better than the L3.
Cameras that are a little more expensive generally have more features and better quality optics (for better looking photos)and have better build quality.
It all really comes down to how much you want to pay
But for general outdoor shots, it may be suitable for you.

Picked one up second hand w/no instructions. This is my first digital camera and I have NO idea what it can do or how to transfer pics to computr etc. Have taken some pics and I am able to look through them (accidentally deleted some).

Looking for operating info. Either a hard copy or via the internet.

Run a search on google. Put Nikon coolpix L3 owners manual and you should be good to go!
