Nikon Coolpix S220

i just got a nikon coolpix s220 for my birthday, and the pictures i started uploading earlier worked fine. then 2 weeks later, i try uploading more pictures but after theyre on the computer the get all screwed up? what can i do and whats wrong?
the pictures look fine on the camera, but once theyre on the computer the color is all weird and stuff.

mabye you accidently changed the settings of quality and you never noticed. i would check that first.

Hey everyone,
I have a Nikon Coolpix S220, and would like to connect it to my computer (a Toshiba running Windows XP) as a webcam. Is this possible? If so, how?

When I turn my Nikon Coolpix S220 on the lens gos in and out a few times then stops on the in position and I get a "Lens Error"...

Lens error generally means the lens has been shifted out of place or damaged. You'll need to send it back to the manufacturer to have it fixed but just a heads up, they won't fix it under warranty because it's usually due to impact damage.

I lost the battery charger to my s210 and i found a replacement charger for a s220 and I am wondering if it is the same battery for both and if I should get the s220 charger.

The do both use the same battery charger, however buying a generic charger is not recommended.

Read the caution in your cameras user guide.

Generic chargers can 1) overcharge the battery, 2) over heat the battery and 3) possibly cause a fire or explosion. All of which can reduce the life of the battery
