I'm looking to buy a new camera soon and I'm trying to choose the best one. To the best of my knowledge they're both about the same price but at this point I'm more concerned about the quality of the picture and the functionality of the camera.
Honestly I think Coolpix
Pick up the 3.5-inch Clear Color OLED Display with touch control, the Nikon COOLPIX S70 Digital Camera. One look at the Nikon COOLPIX S70 Digital ...

You can't do that with your camera. What you CAN do is to take separate exposures, then combine them in post processing on your computer.
Unless you mean taking several photos in fast succession, like as in burst mode?
In that case, try reading your user manual - it will tell you how to do it (IF you have such a setting).

I was planning on buying a Nikon Coolpix S70 digital camera and I was wanting reviews from people that own or have owned them. I have a toddler that's always on the go and I was wanting to know if the picture takes quick. I'm wanting a camera that zooms well without distortion. I was also wondering about the quality of the videos taken with it. Thanks
The Nikon S70 is an amazing camera. Go for it. There are not too many cameras out there comparable to it. Great picture quality, easy to use, excellent resolution, reasonably priced, light weight, sleek model... I found the best deal for it at:

Hope this helps..

I'm talking about where you can take a b/w photo and then have it only pick up on (example) just the blue in the picture etc. And all of the other funky coloring capabilities. Also the other coolpix camera, the S230, does it have that function? Please answer quickly, need to know very soon! Thanks so much for your help. if it doesn't have color splash then does anyone know a good camera that does?
About the color accent option: it seems to be a current fad (terribly overused) that teenagers are all excited about. The camera keeps one color and turns everything else black and white.
I would never use such a feature for the following reasons:
• You are very limited in what you can do.
• The function isn't always reliable or accurate. The camera's idea of "red" might be different to yours. It will often include/exclude areas that you don't want to have included/excluded.
• Imagine if you just happened to take your best photo ever, but instead of having a real color photo, you only have some partial b&w thing that might look totally awful. You'd kick yourself.
• If you do the "Selective or Partial Desaturation" (as it is called correctly) in post processing, you have much more control over it, and will get a way better result. Plus you can keep your original color version, too.
This also applies to any color effects done in camera like b&w, sepia or color swap - you're better off NOT to. Doing such things on the computer gives you MUCH better control and a much better result.
If you don't have your own image editor, you can go to www.picnik.com and use their effects menu which makes it very easy.

MRM Worldwide creates tool for Nikon's COOLPIX S70 Touch Camera :
MRM Worldwide , New York, N.Y., has partnered with Nikon Inc . to create an online tool called the Nikon Virtual Touch Experience. The utility enables consumers to flip through photo and image galleries using their webcam.
MRM calls it “another step in bridging the gap between the physical world and the digital world, which is ultimately where digital is heading to achieve maximum reach in the marketplace.”
The free tool, available on ashtonscoolpix.com , extends the Nikon COOLPIX S70 experience beyond the camera screen. Users who have webcam-enabled computers can install the Nikon Virtual Touch Experience by dragging a link to their bookmarks bar; then, it travels with the user’s browser wherever they navigate.
When a user is ready to view images on a given web page or online gallery, a simple click on the toolbar link opens the experience in a branded Nikon frame and allows full screen browsing.
Through edge-detection technology, the webcam can recognize movement so that hand gestures control the virtual scroll or re-sizing of images to emulate the experience of using the Nikon COOLPIX S70 touch camera.
