They tell me I can use my old Nikkor AI lenses (manually) with this camera as long as they are made after 1977. How do I tell if my AI lenses are after 1977?
O.k. Brian, as I wrote nobody told me that the ai lenses were all made after 77. I said IF if was made after 1977 and my question here for everyone is HOW DO I TELL IF MY AI LENSE WAS MADE AFTER 1977? I understand I can use it manually thank you all.

D200 is in the semi-pro segment, so it is definitely a better camera. But D70s is also an excellent camera which supports all the basic needs of slr photography. If you plan to go pro soon and shoot for magazines or other paid photographic assignments (next 3 months), go for D200, but if you shoot only for yourself, probably D70s will be more than enough.
I am a photography student and am only intered in good digital SLR, like the nikon D200 or 300, or maybe even the B40. Are there any duty free stores at LAX airportthat sell these kinds of cameras? Or something equilivant? I need to findout in advance, i will be at the airport for 10 hours
Unfortunately for you, no, there aren't. It's also unlikely you'll ever find pro-end digital cameras in a duty-free shop anywhere in the world.
