Currently it seems i more interest in lens, and i find out that Olympus had one 2 very nice lens for most other can't compete at the same price (Olympus 12-60mm and Olympus 50mm f2.0 lens) both of those lens i heard is produce very sharp image. Does Panasonic G1 work with those lens? I know d5000 and t1i has more lens option and both can do video, but i heard their video is very choppy. problem with d5000 and t1i they only support auto focus in newer more pricey lens. And i don't see they got similar lens as Olympus for that price range.
I use an Olympus E-510 and love it. The G1 uses a different mount and you would need a mount adapter to use those lenses on it. You could also take a look at the E-450 or E-520 as your camera body. That could save you some additional money over the E-620. As for the lenses, the Digital Zuicko lenses were designed for digital photography and do produce better images than film lenses adapter for digital. Olympus offers a full line of lenses, covering the full range of shooting for the E series cameras. Keep in mind that Olympus doesn't make separate auto focus and manual lenses, Olympus also put the image stabilization in the camera body. That means other companies need to offer more lenses just to match the coverage Olympus offers in its lenses. Something users of other systems don't mention. Now the E series cameras won't do video. The video offered from these cameras is short, as it can overheat the sensor and damage the camera. As such, longer video clips can e a bit choppy as the sensor heats up. For video, it's just a novelty right now, you do better to get a separate video camera. You will get much better results.

I have an Olympus E3 and currently have a 12-60mm lens.
I might be getting a wide-angle lens, but I really want one thats really good for portraits
"standard" lenses for portraits are longer focal length ones.
Normal fixed lens for the Olympus x2 would be what I would teach in the portrait classes over the years. So , if a 35mm camera with 50 is "normal" then something in the 100mm range + or - (85 to 135)
So, with 60 being about in that range for the Olympus your there at the tele part of the lens.
OK. so the kid just looked over my shoulder and said I even type in long answers.. rolled his eyes and wondered off..
Hope that helps anyway

I always prided myself on a rock-steady shooting stance, but repeated results with this lens in particular suggests that it "ain't quite so." Perhaps it's mainly that when you allow it to, the results are amazingly sharp, so that, by comparison, anything less is really disappointing. It's a lot of glass hanging on a small camera, and this might be part of the problem.
