60th Birthday Photo Album

my friend will be 60 next month. it's also her anniversary and they are going on a cruise.

here's what i have so far in a cute basket.

heart necklace
candy
note pad
disposable camera

NO lotion, etc b/c she sells Avon

NO flip flops b/c picky about shoes

NO gift cards

NO toilitries for cruise b/c some on cruise and probably already packed

what else do you suggest?

maybe small photo album or picture frame,

maybe something else little if i find something
w/ happy 60th birthday. saw a cute mug online but it will be delivered too party.

what stores sell birthday stuff?
no luck at dollar tree or walmart.

sunscreen, suglasses, maybe an alcoholic drink?

I am a college student with very little money - $100 - $150 to spend. My mom is extremely hard to buy gifts for. She doesn't wear jewelry, she doesn't read books, she doesn't watch much TV, and she doesn't have any hobbies. She does not use a computer outside of work, since she is on the computer all day at work. She hates plants. She hates music.

The photo album thing isn't possible, because the few pictures she has are already in photo albums. She is getting laid off from her job after being employed for 30 years at one company. I'm trying not to remind her of that. My mom is also extremely over weight, and is a very unhappy and depressed person.

I have no clue what to get her. I feel like such a failure for not getting or doing something memorable for her 60th Bday.

Her 60th is on October 25th. I have been trying to figure something out for months and have asked her several times, and she responds with, "Oh, don't get me anything - don't worry about it because it's not a big deal."

Suggestions are welcome.

Get her a gift card that way she can pick out what she needs or want.Bake her a cake write her a poem telling her how much she means to you
