They scan at the original size and show up way up in the corner of the "frame" in the program and look like postage stamps in the corner of an envelope. I can not find a resizeing option in the program. Thanks in advance.
you don't want to resize them, you want to change the view. look up at the top for a small bar with a numerical percentage next to an arrow pointing down. click the arrow and then click on 100%

Every time I plug my camera cord into the USB port, Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 pops up to download the photos. I don't mind it downloading the photos, but not only do the photos go into my personal files, each of them are copied into one big album. This is our family computer and I don't want some of my pictures going where everyone else can see them. I've been using that Adobe photo downloader for a while, so I have many photos downloaded by it and I was wondering if, I un-installed it .. would it remove my downloaded photos as well?
Please help, other suggestions are welcome also.
I would make a photo folder in My Documents & then copy & paste all your photos to that folder. Once they are there remove adobe photo & your photos should be in that new folder. right click on a photo coose open with & when window opens select choose programs at the bottom; hi lite window picture & fax viewer & click ok at the bottom.try it with one foto first & see if you don't like it better

I want to really get serious about learning photo editing software.. But I have 5 different softwares on my computer (some are free downloads and some are for a trial period). I need to get rid of some of them - so that I can focus on learning a couple and limiting my time to just those and then maybe expand from that later on. The back and forth gets confusing and I don't know enough about any of it to pick which ones should go and which ones should stay on my computer. ---- Print Shop 6.0 ---- HP Photosmart Essential 1.9 ---- Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 ----- Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0 ---- Adobe Photo Shop 2.0 ---- Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0. I know I did a click and fix for red eyes, with Adobe (I think), and one click gave them black eyes.... I'm sure some of these are outdated and you that are experienced photo editors should be able to tell me which ones I should leave....or if they're so dated I need to buy something else? Thanks for all your help.
I agree with Photoshop. The current version is CS2, by the way - version 6 is soooo last year.
I'm still on Photoshop CS myself, and I use a few plug-ins with it like PowerRetouche and NoiseNinja. That covers all of my requirements. Other that that, I only use ACDSee to browse pictures.

Photoshop Album's "collections" aren't good enough. Multiple users on one computer have different photos, and want their own "album". How do I create different "catalogs"?
Just save the pictures to different folders on the desktop, or in photoshop archives . . .
I reentered the unlock code, manually and cut/paste. I can see my pictures but I can not access them. I am signed on as admin. Help, I need my photos. Using windows xp.
That didn't help. I need to figure out how to attach to missing files.
This might help you.

Anyway i got superAntiSpyware but it didnt detect anything. I went to “add/remove programs” and have removed everything to do with windows live and CiD (couldnt find “CiD Help) including “windows live messenger (original) and “Windows live home” and selected to “delete sponsor” but they still came (with slightly less intensity). Yes, i found “MSN PLUS! Sponsor Program” and deleted it but the ads keep comming. I searched my computer for any windows live plus remaining. none. I even did a restore computer thing were i went one day before the download. didnt work. I have running now: comcast desktop doctor, google pop-up blocker, internet explorer pop-up blocker, and Norton security. I coud use “SUPER anti Spyware” if needed, but it brings my computer to a crawl and it already couldnt fin the problem when i did full computer scan, and while it didnt boot right after download, the CiD ads kept on popping-up and popping...
