I remember seeing a little Asian store in Swanston St, i cant say for sure if its still there but they had a bunch of booths in that store. It sounds exactly like what you are looking for so if you walk done Swanston St towards the QV building and on the same side of the road as QV hopefully you will find it. I think its your best try.

My friend told me i look Asian? I am the girl on your right with blonde hair, and before anyone asks yes I had blonde hair as a kid although it darkened now. Yes, brown eyes and blonde hair is rare but not impossible and even common in my family.

I am Romanian so how do I look Asian? Does it have to do with the Ghengis Kan expansion or is it just a coincidence? A few others in my family have Asiatic qualities.

Yup - definitely a descendant of Ghengis and the boys.

Slavs often have high cheekbones and slightly Oriental eyes. This is extremely common in Ukrainians, and many Russians. I have not known many Romanians, but the area now called Roumania was certainly influenced by the Horde, as were other countries all around Eastern Europe.

My ex was half Ukrainian, and had similar features to you, and also the very blonde hair while young (which did darken as she aged.). I have known lots of Ukrainians here (Canada) that are similar.

Not to worry - you got lots of the "cuteness" genes from wherever they came from!

When I was signing up a new pay as you go phone (I like to switch them every couple of months, so that the cops don't get ahold of my number, which has happened before), I was given the option to make the number "Asian friendly" by ticking off a small box.

Gary - I already saw that question / answer before I asked this. That seems to be nothing more then a hypothesis. I'm hoping someone has something a little more concrete.
Also, the answer that was given to that other woman's question doesn't really make sense, considering that I had the option of choosing a custom phone number, yet I could still make it Asian friendly. So if I chose a custom number using digits that Asians don't like, then hit Asian friendly, would it tell me "dese aww nowt Asian fwiendwee"?

I asked this question before, but it did not garner the response that I needed to fix my problem. So here it goes again:

There was this girl who volunteered at Columbia University's GED program, and since she left I can't stop thinking about her. She was this cute petite Asian girl with a great personality and everyone seemed to like her. Now in my defense everyone acts a bit creepy when they're attracted to someone. What made me notice her is how nice and patient she was to those she taught (people with less than a 5th grade reading/writing level) , and she was really easy going and social, which I'm not. Well here is where my problem begins. Since I couldn't get her out of my system, and since she is in London studying medicine, I kind of cyber stalked her and found her photobucket and facebook account. Since no one knew that I was into her (since I pretty much turned mute when she'd speak to me) this was the only way I could see her. Anyway her friend saw it on my laptop one day and I quickly got nervous and shut it. The next day her facebook was set to private (although not her photobook). Do you think she knows, and if so, did I miss my chance at asking her out? I really like her, and I think she is my perfect girl that I can really date. What should I do?! I need to know how to explain what I was doing without coming off as creepy. So please, no judgment, folks. Also, how can I ask her friends for her e-mail now that they know that I did that? I can't let her go! From what I know about her, and just seeing her being incredibly kind to people (we volunteered at soup the same soup kitchen) together I want to start over and just show her who I am. This is really killing me knowing that I missed my chance. Please help!

I only posted her photos to see if I would have a chance with someone like her. I'd rather not post mine, since I'm no Brad Pitt, but I've been told that I'm not bad looking either.

Up yours! Why don't you try answering the question, instead of insulting me! I hope you never have to feel the way I do, but judging from your humor, you probably don't even have "a real girl"

I hate to be the bearer of bad news,but you chose the wrong way to go about finding her and since she and her friends know that you cyber-stalked her she is probably not wanting you to contact her,now.
You should have contacted her in person when you had the chance and asked her out.
If she does not want her e-mail given out,her friends can not give you her e-mail without her permission. You can ask,but given what they know you did,the chance of that is probably pretty slim. You may have let the love of your life get away. Be careful what you do in your efforts to try and find her,you may be doing something illegal that could land you in a lot of trouble.
