Baby First Year Photo Album

My husband and I had a mutual friend when my daughter was younger, he was around until she was about a year. We have severed all contact with this person because he betrayed our trust. We have photos of him holding our daughter in her albums. She will most likely never see this person again, and it makes me sad to see the pictures. Should I remove them from her albums, and if so what should I do with them?

Sorry to hear that you are in this situation to begin with. I know its not fun.
I removed pictures of my ex-husband (daughter's biological father) out of my daughter's photo album because he will most likely never see her again because HE cut the ties. I didn't throw them out, but I did remove them from the book. I didn't throw them out because he was important at one point and she may have questions later.

For your case, I think you should take them out, but keep them. He was important enought at one time to take pictures of and who knows if he will come back. Keep them for the good memories but just put them away.

i'll put in sonograms, photos of me, my belly.. but my ex i was with for two years left me during my pregnancy and now has another girlfriend we havent spoken in months except when i called him to tell him the baby was healthy and he said he doesnt give a shit about the baby.. SO should i put him in the album? we have pics together and he is the father, and he might come around, or should i just leave him out and make it of me and babe?
i was thinking the baby can eventually point at the picture and be like there's daddy... but what if he never comes around, you know? all they'll know is a picture..

You know, your baby deserves to know about their father at some point, but you know what? He doesn't deserve to be in a photo album about your precious baby's life. He needs to earn that privilege and it sounds as though that is a long way off.

I'm making a photo album of all of my pictures from when i was a baby to now...What I wanna do though is separate the baby years, toddler years, etc... and i need some creative ideas of how to make a photo album really personal and cute! Any suggestions are welcome :D

I use all kinds of things I can find around the house in my photo albums. Sometimes I glue in ribbon or lace from my favorite jammies, buttons, broken pieces of jewelry. I save things like ticket stubs and programs from events that I will cut up and add to pages. I save old greeting cards and wrapping paper from special gifts and cut out themes and motifs from them, too. I've even used the netting that onions, lemons and limes come in for texture.

I am looking for a photo album for my baby's photos, but i dont want one with loads of sleeves for pics in, i want to be able to organize pics together, on a big page and so on and so on, like little stories for different ages etc....anyone understand my explanation, my mum had one for me and my bro but that was nearly 28 years ago.
asking in here because parents make the best answerers, you know from personal experience.

Albums that have details of the photos - e.g. A holiday travelling, A Growing-up Journal etc

Holiday Travelling album:
Details such as date of the photos, the name when the place of interests that photos were taken?

A growing up Album:

Baby's 1st day, 1st years till 2nd year etc?

The above is possible if using film camera but with digital camera, now photos are mostly kept in pc and soon to be forgotten.

WOULD you spend time doing the above?

Obviously you are unaware of the ink books, also called coffee table books. They are great for all the memories you have listed, the pictures don't fall out, aren't destroyed by glue and are fun to make.
