Baby Photo Album

At my baby shower, I received a couple of baby photo albums. But a few weeks ago I bought my own very cute ones. What should I do. I really like the ones I bought myself better, what my family might be hurt if I don't use theirs.
I can't use them as the baby grows. I bought 10 photo albums on my own to use as the baby grows. I am a photographer so I take tons of pictures. I have almost 800 pictures just of my little cousin and he's not even 3 yet.

I was the same way. My little cousins had pictures coming out the wazoo... but I took even more when my two precious ones came. You will need them! If you do not fill them all keep them anyway, after all.... if you have another child you can save them for them! :)

My husband and I had a mutual friend when my daughter was younger, he was around until she was about a year. We have severed all contact with this person because he betrayed our trust. We have photos of him holding our daughter in her albums. She will most likely never see this person again, and it makes me sad to see the pictures. Should I remove them from her albums, and if so what should I do with them?

Sorry to hear that you are in this situation to begin with. I know its not fun.
I removed pictures of my ex-husband (daughter's biological father) out of my daughter's photo album because he will most likely never see her again because HE cut the ties. I didn't throw them out, but I did remove them from the book. I didn't throw them out because he was important at one point and she may have questions later.

For your case, I think you should take them out, but keep them. He was important enought at one time to take pictures of and who knows if he will come back. Keep them for the good memories but just put them away.

I'm here in San Francisco, CA Financial disttrict - Union Square area. Do you know if there's a nearby store around the area where I can get Baby Photo albums? There's a lot in Babies R Us but it is to far (in emeryvile). Let me know if you see any. I'm lazy to drive to Emeryville, its traffic at the Bay Bridge!

So I am getting ready to go back to work in a week. My husband is going to be home with our 5 month old son. I am thinking of getting him one of these baby photo albums (the kind baby can hold and plat with) and putting pictures of our family in it. I have to admit, my motivation is that I want him to remember me (I know, how narcissistic of me). My question is whether this might just increase separation anxiety for him, if he sees my picture but I am not there?

I think it is a great idea. I would think it would decrease separation anxiety.
I do all of my photo albums online. They are so simple with digital pictures. Try Shutterfly.com, kodak.com, MyPublisher.com, smilebox.com. With smilebox you can be more creative, but my favorite is probably shutterfly.com. These are all free websites, you just have to sign up.
