do you know what place is this in New Zealand?

http://s215.photobucket.com/albums/cc194 /trinz_photo/?action=view&current=e. jpg

Napier, New Zealand - there is a similar one in the Netherlands, also.

Doubtful Sound, New Zealand

In the remote fjordland of South Island, New Zealand, Doubtful Sound was made accessible by the works needed to construct a hydroelectric power ...

How much would you pay for this?...?

How much would you pay for this painting.
Done by me so it is an original
of Norah Jones

$2,878.00 to $3,837.00 NZD
I think that is equivalent to about $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 USD.. I used a currency converter.
It's definitely worth more than that though..
A true Norah Jones fan would be willing to pay /at least/ that much! You could probably auction it and get quite a bit more for it...

I'm so happy you added more pictures! You're a wonderful artist!

How much is my pony worth?

I know I have asked this question before but I have photos now.

My pony isn't actually for sale; I'm just curious.

Breed: Appaloosa
Age: 14 or 15
Height: 14.2hh

Good:
Enjoys jumping - jumped up to 1m but could easily go higher
Perfect ground manners
Self-loads
Done Natural Horsemanship and ridden bitless
Done Pony Club (But got bored of it)
Huge personality which is probably an Appaloosa trait
Bows
Gone to a couple of shows
Loves trail riding, endurance and western pleasure
100 percent bombproof and safe
Inquisitive
Loves new things
Safe for learners
Will go the extra mile for advanced riders
No vices

Bad:
Not registered
Needs an assertive rider
Does not like dressage or arenas
Abused in the past so needs paitence when his feet are handled

Tell me what you think he is worth in NZD (New Zealand Dollar)

Thanks guys!

SpottyPony

Yeah, he puts weight on at the smell of food!
Oh, and we have been to 3 shows - he got placed in all of them, mostly 1sts.
Just to clarify:

He doesn't like arenas. He shows this by being a little lazy and slow. Nothing dangerous or anything. :)
Thanks, we live in New Zealand lol.

And why is being registered add more to the price?

Chubby little man isn't he?

He's cute so that definitely helps.

It is hard to keep in mind that your pony will always be worth more to you than to anyone else, so I'd like to say please don't be offended if someone thinks your pony is only worth ____ amount etc. They are giving you their opinion without knowing him, which is the same thing a buyer would do if your horse were for sale (which I know you said he's not).

If he's pretty decent under saddle, that is, he has his flying lead changes, can come onto the bit, is a good and cute jumper and really cares for his rider, you can look at an easy $5,000 (US). I can only give you an estimate based on the current US market and only in US dollars. You can convert it I guess to whatever NZ would be.

If he were in the US I think you would be looking at $3,000 to $5,000 US dollars. The market is hurting right now, and I am giving this based on the info you gave me. His biggest 'hurt' point is his age. Ponies last longer than horses it is true, but after they get too old they can't be working as hard or jump as high as he may be able to.

Well good luck!

Does this look positive to you - two photos included?

Unamed flower - does anyone know what it is?

http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254 /sueniven/?action=view&current=DSC02 207.jpg

This is about 40cm tall. Photo taken 03/02/08 10am. Located in New Zealand.
This plant has been in the garden without flowering for at least eleven years. The white flower petals are quite rigid and feel waxy. The ends of the stamens are yellow
Any ideas would be welcome
Thanks
