Paint Shop Photo Album

My default choice is MGI Photo Suite II.

Click start then all programs. At the top you will see Set Acessories and Defaults. that is where you can change the default settings.

I agree with "photography" down below. I tried Jasc on a free trial but wound up using Picassa. It is free and works really well. Nice slick and intuitive interface.

It's a picture editing program. If you didn't know you had it and you never use it then you may as well remove it.

I'm completely lost. And I need to actually find downloads for fonts and military graphics that are free. How do I find those? I tried google already... Military graphics meaning Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps logos. Thanks :)

The last question first: We civilians call them "logos" but the military calls them "insignia". Google U.S. Army Insignia, etc. Here's a page from googling just that:

Scroll to the bottom and you can download...how easy;-)

Now, for the first question....If the album that has the graphics and logos you want to download is on a webpage, you have to get them onto your computer first. Right click on them one at a time and click on Save Picture As...to save the picture to your computer. In PSP X2, File>Open. If you're going to print the insignia, you need to check its resolution and size. Image>Resize, Make sure Resample Using...is unchecked and change the resolution to 300 if you need to. This will make the image smaller. If you need to resize it, make sure Resample Using... is checked (once you get used to all this, it's easy;-) and it set to Smart Size. Also, make sure that Lock Aspect Ratio is checked. Up in the Print Box, make sure the units are inches and then type in the size you want. Now, click OK (finally!)

PSP uses the fonts installed on your computer. Just google Free Fonts and you'll find a ton of them. Unfortunately, just like the rest of us, you're going to have to look through about a gazillion of them to find the ones you want.

I can't open up either program. It won't recognize the drive for the camera memory card either now. Are these problems related to the Norton 360? That was the last thing installed before they quit working.
I put both programs on the allow list. They STILL are not functioning. Any more ideas?

My guess is Norton's firewall is preventing progrm updates. Try to find the "Allow" list in Norton.
