iPhone App Review: AutoStitch Panorama Software for the iPhone

Have you ever wanted to capture a sweeping landscape using an iPhone but thought it would be too much work to stitch the pictures together in Photoshop? Maybe you don't have Photoshop or another software program for creating panoramic pictures. Enter AutoStitch , an inexpensive iPhone app that lets you create panoramic pictures right on your iPhone. AutoStitch is very easy to use and will make you look for opportunities to capture panoramic images everywhere you go.

When you first launch AutoStitch, you are presented with a screen showing your Camera Roll and Albums with options to Stitch or Clear. Tapping the Info button on the upper right brings up an Instructions screen that clearly explains how to use AutoStitch and hints for getting the best panoramic images out of the app.

Choose the Camera Roll or Album with the photos for creating your panorama and select them one by one. Afterwards, tap stitch and wait for AutoStitch to render your panorama. Once the panorama is finished, a popup tells you how to crop the picture and reminds you to save the panorama by tapping the Save button on the upper right. The panorama is then saved back to your Camera Roll.
