I currently use a program named "MyAlbum" and like it a lot, but I don't know for how long it will be around. It has an open object model and can run VBScript and Javascript programs to access the album, photos, comments, captions, etc. and export them to text files in any format that I create.
If I have to migrate to another digital photo album, which one will let me import the data (from text files, csv, Excel, etc.) for my existing albums?
BTW, my albums contain several thousand photos, and each is documented with comments, captions, timestamps, photographer, location, and camera settings.

Is there a way to make a photo album in the site builder program. What I would like to do is make a new page Say Hawaii 2009, add pictures to that page and have a photo album application show them.
Currently I can put the pictures in a static format and you can click on a pic, it will enlarge then you have to close it and click on the next picture. i would like to be able to go from picture to picture.
Any suggestions appreciated. thanks

I just wanted to know how i could make my photo albums appear on my profile page. Like the box appear on the page.
I've tried clicking on the "Applications" tab on the bottom left and then "edit applications". I then clicked "edit settings" next to the photos application and it says that i've added the Box to profile.
I've also tried clicking on 'profile' next to the photos application and 'add to my page', but it also doesnt work.

See Whenever you add any new album so it will show below to your friends on profile page so every time the latest 2 albums uploaded it will show on profile page.
On my own profile page it says (View Photos of Me) (1)
However, there are 2 albums where I have downloaded the pictures, which can be accessed by clicking on the photo application further down the page. How come all these photos are not shown in the top half of the page? or are they in the correct place for others to view?
"photos of me" only show pics that you're tagged in
to tag yourself in your own photos, go to the photo and click "add tags" - then click on yourself in the pic and select your name to add to it :)
the albums below are any photos you've uploaded but NOT into your profile pics ablum
and if you click your profile pic on your profile page, then it'll take you to your profile pics album - photos you've uploaded or copied from other albums to use as your display pic :)
Just use My Computer and drag and drop the files onto the CD.
Make sure that you have CD buring activated though!

My son is an animation artist, and he does not use the mouse while working in Flash Professional. He uses either a tablet with a pen or special monitors where you can draw directly on the screen surface. After watching this video, I can visualize him animating his characters just by using his fingers. Someone has to create commercial application to support these devices. It can be Adobe, Apple, Sony, Microsoft…

I agree that someone has to create commercial applications for this technology, but it has to be anyone other that Sony or Microsoft. I’m not interested in an Apple vs Microsoft flame war or anything. All I’m saying is that historically Sony tends to be VERY proprietary in it’s technology usage. They like to innovate and keep everything internal. Sony products are great as long as everything you have is Sony. Great business concept about 10 years ago, but not practical today and you can see how Sony has suffered because of it. Microsoft would simply vaporware this technology or water it down so badly that it would be useless. Also it would only work in Internet Explorer for Vista (WPF anyone?) I’d love to see Apple do something with this, although they don’t have broad market share like Microsoft, they would definitely “get it” and really take this technology to it’s fullest. Adobe could also do some really amazing things from a development standpoint with this. Google would be an interesting choice as well. Either way, I TRULY hope this tech makes it into everyones’ home and workplace. How cool would it be to have a 8′ x 3′ panel in your home where you can quickly leave messages for the family, the kids can make a quick doodle, you can pop up pictures from the weekend, post a cool article for everyone to read and have a todo list. That’s just scratching the surface. This finally makes computers truly accessible to almost everyone. After seeing this – the concept of a disconnected input device like a mouse seems so ridiculous.
