Photo Album Black Pages

some black has remained on the photo and there is writing under and i cant read it.... help?

if you meant that there is black stuck to the back of photo, you may be best to leave as is, you could try scrap or peeling in layers, but not to use water or liquids, that may cause damage, water may dilute inks or pencil marks as well, understood that the writing may list who is in photo, so carefully peeling pieces away may be best idea,
~ also if able search for negatives related, container may also have list and other info,

I have some very old albums of blk/wht photos of WWII in the old military black albums with black pages. Also have family albums of the type with the clear covers over sticky sheets.
The albums are larger pages than my scanner which is an HP All-In-One printer/scanner.

You need a scanner. Scan them into files saved into your computer, then copy them onto CD's.

My company name. Do I need to make a custom template? How? Also, can i automatically number each page? I want to print out the slides and use it as a catalog.

Some while ago I tested a beta for Gazo.com which was a book with turning pages. You could add your own graphics/photos and text but they had limited number of templates back then. Maybe they've improved/added more since. Good Luck

I have purchased a 10x10 IVORY wedding photo album and the mats that it came with are the traditional looking mats (about 12 different styles). I have seen mats where it has slots for three parallel pictures on a page or one large picture slot on top and two smaller picture below that, etc for black albums but not for IVORY. My mats are ivory with gold trim, and would like to keep that theme. Any online retailers or brick n mortar stores that will ship?

I guess it depends on what you plan to do with the camera and what kind of pictures you want to take. HP makes pretty decent printers and if you can get a sample shot printed from it prior to purchase depending on your satisfaction with the quality of the print that should be your main decision maker on that scale. Also be aware that if you're going to be say, printing a book a photo printer isn't the best choice because the quality is definitely inferior on that level.

As for HP cameras I've never had any personal luck with them. As the previous poster stated HP camera's are 'ok' but for true quality I'd look at another brand. I'm a very big fan of Canons, but Nikons are also solid pieces of machinery, along with the sonys, in terms of reliable picture quality and satisfaction.
