Photo Album Builder

Is there a way to make a photo album in the site builder program. What I would like to do is make a new page Say Hawaii 2009, add pictures to that page and have a photo album application show them.

Currently I can put the pictures in a static format and you can click on a pic, it will enlarge then you have to close it and click on the next picture. i would like to be able to go from picture to picture.

Any suggestions appreciated. thanks

Why not make a flash picture gallery and embed in your new page? Here is the step by step tutorial about how to make flash slideshow with photos and music, and then display on web page.

My husband builds custom homes and he uses pics. as references. What can I get him to keep all of the photos and reference information in to show to new clients? I want it to be better than a photo album, but not too expensive. What do home builders usually use?

Convert everything to digital photos. Use ProShow Gold (PC) or iPhoto (Mac) to make slideshows with music. More professional and impactful. You can burn them onto DVD's cheaply and it's more dramatic.

I recently paid for a geocites website and I noticed that you can download yahoo site builder and pretty much just transfer your site over to that. I'm worried that if I do transfer it, I won't like it as much as what I have right now.

Questions: Are you able to create photo albums?
Can you design your own banner at the top?

If anyone has used site builder... Could you please let me know if there any pros or cons to it?

Well, let me first say that your website is very nice. Anyway, from the looks of it, you can download the site to your local desktop. Be sure to download the .css files and change the location within the .html files. If you need any help with this, you can email me (email can be found in my profile).

In regards to the yahoo site builder, I don't recall them including a photo album in their scripts (haven't used it in 3 years, so it might be included now). I'm pretty sure you can import images into the site builder and scale them. You might have to make the banners in an external program (ms paint or photoshop) before importing them into the site builder though.

However, I would expect that if you do convert the site into the yahoo site builder format, you might see certain things out of place. I would recommend that you have a backup copy before you try this yourself as a precaution.
