Photo Album Pages

The album pages have little grooves that the photos are placed onto, then covered with clear page, that sticks to the grooved page, enclosing the photograph in between. Any suggestions much appreciated.

I was going to suggest putting the album in the freezer and so does this site.

Once you've safely removed all the pictures, buy new archival quality photo albums and this won't happen again.

You should be able to find archival quality photo albums locally if you'd rather not buy on-line. Just make certain they are of photo archival quality.

Does anyone know the brand or where they are sold now?

They hold 6 4x6 photos per page -3 on each side- and they have a margin for notes.

I really need to find these as I don't want to switch pages in the middle of an album.

I can't find any online as and as target no longer stock them any that are out there are likely to be end of line and as such unlikely to be advertised anywhere.

Other than striking lucky on e-bay I can only suggest that you either find an acceptable alternative or use a lot of shoe-leather going round various stores to see if they have any left - smaller photo outlets would be more likely to still have them than big stores. the big stores would probably quickly sell off discontinued stock, a small shop just might have some tucked away.

I use to have colored background on my photo pages and pics by entering urls with a code i use to put in the captions but i cant see m to find that code anymore anyone know where i can it? I've been given a project to fill a photo album that is 1 1/2 inches thick. I need to not only buy enough pages to fill the album, but I also need to plan ahead to figure out how many pictures to print. (I have over 1,600 available.)
The album is made from wood with rings added to make it into an album. (Made by a pastor in Honduras.)

bring the album to the store and estimate by fitting it in between. But don't fill it too tightly, the photos will add lots of thickness in the long run. Maybe go about it gradually, or do intense measurements

It is a (so-called) magnetic photo album which were popular in the 1970's. It seems to have tiny raised lines and I do not want to destroy the photos. I would like to place these in a newer album. Just pulling them off will destroy the photos as they have been exposed to heat over the years. I really could use an idea on how to accomplish this task. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me!

try using some light moisture to soften the whole thing up, perhaps some light steam from a kettle, better if less steam but applied over a couple of hours than lots in one go.
Personally I think the photos will be better off left alone in their 70's album.
