Photo Album Scrapbooks

I'm putting together a photo album and bought a regular photo album/scrapbook at an arts store. The pages inside are the regular ones where you place the photo in between the plastic and the paper behind it, but of course the pictures won't stay in place. What's the best way to hold the pictures in place in the album?

Head to Hobby Lobby or Michael's and go to their scrapbooking section. Where they have adhesives, you'll find double-sided tape and photo mounting squares. Make sure that you buy acid-free tape otherwise it'll ruin your photos!

Hello!
I would like to make a photo album/scrapbook to give to my boyfriend for our 1 year. I want to put photos aswell as other bits and pieces i've collected along the way...like postcards and maps.
Is there a special name for what im looking for?
Does anyone know anywhere in Melbourne that I might find one?
Any ideas for sticking the pieces in the album?
Anything else you can help with?

i have looked everywhere for one of those older types of photoalbums with the clear plastic that pulls up to put the pictures in-under. im NOT looking for the ones that the pictures just slide in becuase I like to use this type as a scrapbook and I keep all kinds of things in my scrap book. any ideas where i can find this type of album or what I should use? I want to be able to pull the picture out of the album after it is in there (in case someone wants a copy or something)

I've seen them quite often in 99 cent stores or big lots. some of the smaller chain stores still seem to carry those type of albums.

Any kind of photo album or scrapbook idea would be great! My photos are all 6x4.

There are so many scrapbook stores and photo supply stores in the US, I can't imagine that you would have any problem finding exactly what you want.

You can also choose from stationary stores, and most Hallmark stores, plus most art supply stores and of course, gift shops.

you got married in Vegas, right? I did too - almost ten years ago! Anyway, I put in stuff from the city - the hotel we stayed at, a poker chip, cocktail napkin, matchbook, stuff like that in it & lots of stuff from the chapel too. (you might even get stuff off the internet for this) It makes me smile everytime I look at it. Celebrate your Vegas wedding!
