Photo Album Slideshow

I currently have a lot of pictures and photos I would like to put onto DVD. I am already going to backup the original files by putting them on the disk. I am looking for a way to make an album or slideshow that will be interactive. I'm looking for a way to put the pictures onto DVD, but still have control over the duration of how long an image is displayed by remote. I Prefer it to be with the Skip/Next Chapter button. Here's the catch: I want to have music constantly playing in the background as well. I don't want it to get chopped up when I move to the next picture. How would I do this? Any ideas?

is there a software which goes through the "my pictures" folder for example and plays the pictures as a slideshow.

is so recommend one which is free.

In XP the My Pictures area has an option "View as a Slideshow" - but it skips Folders. You have to view them separately by clicking on the folder and then "Viewing......etc".

We are tasked to make an interactive photo album for our social studies project. Our teacher said we can use any program except for microsoft power point. We can use flash or windows movie maker but I don't know how to work both.

Also, in slide.com, if u make a slide show, can you save the slideshow you made into your computer?

I have tried everything I know and nothing works. I have tried going to my Yahoo Photos and rearranging the order of the albums, but that doesn't change the default album on my 360 page. Also I hate to say it but is there a way to make the slideshow automatically start when someone views my page (kinda like on MSN groups)?

The only way that I have found to make the photo album that YOU want on top to show is to go into your SHARE PHOTOS link (same box that the little photo album window is in) and then make available THAT photo album. This means that only ONE album can be set to public or friends or however you want it to be set. ALL the rest of your albums must be set to PRIVATE JUST ME....otherwise...yahoo decides what one is showing on your page when you go to it. If there is another way, I would like to know it myself. As far as making it play automatically....nope, can't be done in 360 that I know of. Sorry.
