Photo Album Supplies

A co worker is supplying all the supplies, photos and album. I am using my time and my tools. How much is reasonable? And this is the first album I have ever done for someone else. Anyone ever made a book for someone else?

My friend did a 12x12 and charged $12 per page so I would say $8-10 would be sufficient. Good luck and have fun!!

I bought a nice leather (or leathery looking) photo album on clearance a while back. I thought I could pick up any photo page refills at an office supply store and be done with it, but this album is slightly smaller than the average album. In order to hold 40 photos I would be paying over 15$. The album cost only 3$ ( guess it was on clearance because it had no pages inside). I know these page refills are not terribly expensive, except that all the ones I come across on the internet are too big. The side of the page is about 9x11 and the pages will stick out. I need some approx 7.5 - 8" by 10.5 - 11" tops. It's designed to hold 5x7s, but I would be just as happy with 4x6s. Can anyone help me? If what I'm asking for doesn't exist outside the ones specifically meant for this album,, do you have any ideas on what else I could use it for? It's very well made and will look great on a bookshelf and I wanted to fill it with something of some importance. Thanks.

I would try ebay to see if you can find them at a better price. If not, you can purchase scrapbook paper (which is very cheap) and cut them down to the size you need. You can use a craft cutter to get a straight line, then use a hole punch and insert them.

You can then attach pictures by using tape or scrapbook stickers.

A friend tried to send me the photo album virus, i blocked n deleted him, my comp instatly shut down right after i deleted him n wont come on now. When i press the power button the fan at the back that is attached to the power supply spins but very slowly and there is no sign of power. I was just wondering if it was just my power supply that needs changing n was just a coincidental.

cases have been reported of the virus erasing ones hard drive but none of it causing the computer not to come on. That is probably just a coincidence and your power supply needs to be checked. Especially if you didn't accept the photo album then you probably doesn't have the virus

Someone I know made a Photo Book/Album, but won't tell me how she made it. Its a hard cover photo album with glossy photos. The photos are printed on the paper unlike photos albums where you have to slid(sp?) them into a photo holder.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make them. Also what kind of supplies would I need and where could I get the supplies?

sounds like she paid some one to do it. It sounds like something you can put together online and then order it as a photo book. there is a little leg work that you have to do, but eventually some one else does the printing and binding etc. all you really have to do is upload and organize the album.
